Hotel was absolutely beautiful! However, the room was much smaller than expected. It was also very noisy. It was very hard to close the bathroom door and there was a strange slope in the floor leading to the bathroom which led to some "almost" falls. The bedside clock was useless because the numbers were unreadable.

wow!! Art Deco at its finest

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Beautiful hotel great location for us first time visitors. The hotel is a must for Art Deco lovers - the history on display is breathtaking as are the common areas. rooms do need updating but they are spotless and comfortable. I hope the new owners do not change this beautiful hotel.

4 days at the Waldorf

A fantastic and luxurious way to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. The hotel is truly amazing, the staff are polite and courteous, always willing to help out. Enjoyed our time there so much. Would go back there at any time. First class!!!

Comfortable stay close to everything

Posted Jun 28, 2015
We stayed at this hotel two nights. We arrived at 10am and wanted to leave our luggage but to our surprise the room was ready and we were even able to leave them in our room and freshen up. The gentleman at the reception noted that my kids were older, 11 and 9 and offered to give us a bit larger room. It was amazing!!! He was also very patient since I had an issue with my credit card bc we had been traveling for two weeks and used our card a lot. Room was spacious and very clean. Cons: breakfast very expensive $45

Luxurious hotel in a great location.

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Location, very comfortable beds.
Cons: Room dusty, some staff not very welcoming.
Location: Very close to everything! 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station.
Lovely comfortable hotel. Most of the staff very friendly and helpful but unfortunately not all of them. Room not as clean as it should of been.
