Good location, average hotel

Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Free internet, coffee and tea in room and new bathrooms and air conditioning
Hotel was in a good spot in NY, but rooms, while presented reasonably well, were very hot and AC was old and heated the room. Bathroom was quite tired and there were no tea of coffee facilities. Still had to pay for internet access as well which is annoying in 2014

The perfect hotel to enjoy New York.

Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: The service, the location, the intimacy of a boutique hotel.
Cons: Rooms are dark and views limiting, and rooms small.
Location: Close to everything. We walked to Central Park, MOMA, Broadway, radio city music hall, Shopping, restaurants. The best location.
We just came back from experiencing New York and The Warwick Hotel. Best location ever. Boutique Hotel has excellent service and character. Rooms are small but so well appointed and quiet and elegant. Beds very comfortable, and rooms extremely clean and well staffed. Everything in the room worked, and bathrooms although small were more than adequate. Felt right at home very quickly. Elevators small but staying on 4th floor allowed us to use stairs.

Very central location.

Very impressed with this hotel, will return and will recommend to friends and family. Just one critic, the bar was always full and difficult to get a table. The wait was worth it, as when eventually got a table the food and service was very good.

Xmas in NYC

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort and cleanliness
Cons: Realistic breakfast cost in line with restaurants nearby
Location: Most sites other than WTC or financial district were easy walks
We took our son and daughter in law to NYC for Christmas and see all the great decorations. We were thrilled to find our hotel location was in the middle of everything they wanted to see and in easy walking distance. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. All staff met were very pleasant and helpful. Our only surprise was the high cost of breakfast which can be had nearby for half the price. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Would recommend but annoying staff & bad view

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: The room
Cons: The staff
Location: Rockefeller Center & Times Square
staff was rude, made it hard for us to check in. Not helpful. View from the room was a crane and some garbage. Expedia saved us $100. Other than that the room was nice, decent sized, clean & comfortable. Great location

Christmas in NYC

Posted Dec 15, 2014
We enjoy visiting the city at this time of year usually staying uptown, so the Warwick was a change of location for us. The hotel has an old world charm with modern conveniences. The staff was super. The only disappointment was not being able to get into Randolph's any of the three nights we stayed due to all the "cheer" happening. Next time!

Christmas weekend away

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The staff is genuinely polite... from the doorman to the bartender and everyone in between....
Cons: I was surprised there were only steps to walk down when entering the hotel and not some kind of ramp to roll your suitcase down.
Location: You name it.. it's nearby... Just put on your walking shoes and get out there....
This was the first time I experienced New York City during the Christmas season. I knew it was going to be busy and bustling but that's what can be fun! The Warwick is charming with very comfortable rooms and accommodating staff.... You can't beat the location when it comes to proximity to Rockefeller Center, shopping on 5th Ave... or Central Park... I can't see why I'd stay anywhere else... Highly recommend it...
