Xmas in NYC

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort and cleanliness
Cons: Realistic breakfast cost in line with restaurants nearby
Location: Most sites other than WTC or financial district were easy walks
We took our son and daughter in law to NYC for Christmas and see all the great decorations. We were thrilled to find our hotel location was in the middle of everything they wanted to see and in easy walking distance. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. All staff met were very pleasant and helpful. Our only surprise was the high cost of breakfast which can be had nearby for half the price. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Would recommend but annoying staff & bad view

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: The room
Cons: The staff
Location: Rockefeller Center & Times Square
staff was rude, made it hard for us to check in. Not helpful. View from the room was a crane and some garbage. Expedia saved us $100. Other than that the room was nice, decent sized, clean & comfortable. Great location

Christmas in NYC

Posted Dec 15, 2014
We enjoy visiting the city at this time of year usually staying uptown, so the Warwick was a change of location for us. The hotel has an old world charm with modern conveniences. The staff was super. The only disappointment was not being able to get into Randolph's any of the three nights we stayed due to all the "cheer" happening. Next time!

Christmas weekend away

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The staff is genuinely polite... from the doorman to the bartender and everyone in between....
Cons: I was surprised there were only steps to walk down when entering the hotel and not some kind of ramp to roll your suitcase down.
Location: You name it.. it's nearby... Just put on your walking shoes and get out there....
This was the first time I experienced New York City during the Christmas season. I knew it was going to be busy and bustling but that's what can be fun! The Warwick is charming with very comfortable rooms and accommodating staff.... You can't beat the location when it comes to proximity to Rockefeller Center, shopping on 5th Ave... or Central Park... I can't see why I'd stay anywhere else... Highly recommend it...

Uber clean, comfortable hotel ideally located.

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Ambience, cleanliness and location!
Cons: I stayed one night with a longer stay the limited shelf space in the bathroom would be "trying". Would also add luggage tables.
Location: Close to all major attractions.
We arrived early (11:30 am) and our room was ready! It was spotless and roomy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was excellent.

First trip to New York City

Posted Dec 9, 2014
This was my first trip to New York City and it was very memorable. The hotel was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was within walking distance and it was very convenient to get around. The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is because it did not have a coffee pot in the room. The lounge downstairs was the best part of the hotel.

Great location!

Posted Dec 8, 2014
I traveled with my 7 year old daughter and we loved the beauty of the hotel and it's location. Our only issue was the room temperature. With the heat off we could not get the temperature below 78F. Other than that, we enjoyed The Warwick immensely.

Extremely accommodating staff

We booked a few rooms for 2 nights at the Warwick Hotel for a family weekend in the city. Upon check-in, the manager upgraded us to the Cary Grant suite (a 2 room suite with living room, dining room and balcony with views down 6th ave and Central park) so that "our family can be close to each other" instead of in separate rooms. This really set the tone for an amazing experience in the city, and our family really appreciated the gesture.
