Amazing staff! I will definitely return!Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, you can throw a rock and hit 4 coffee shops within walking distance, nightlife. The Japanese restaurant attached is delicious!
Cons: Hallways are a bit tight and the elevator is small, but you get used to it quickly. As I said, you'll be too busy exploring the city to even care.
Location: Again, the location is convenient to restaurants, coffee shops, the mall, Times Square, pubs, and anything you need.
My best friend and I had our first trip to NYC. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly, courteous staff. They really set the tone for our entire stay. The location was just blocks away from my conference , Lincoln Center, Times Square , and Central Park. It's not a high end hotel (you will be walking around the city exploring anyway), but it's charming, the bathrooms are modern, the beds were very comfy, and the staff really go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If there was anything we needed, they were happy to accommodate us. You literally step outside the front door and become immersed in the culture as though you've lived there your whole life. It was the best vacation experience I have ever had! When it was time to leave, :-( the WJ staff even set up our shuttle ride back to Newark Airport. I miss it already!

Good location for Broadway.Posted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: Pleasantness and friendly attitude of front desk staff whenever we entered or left. Hotel room was cosy and comfortable (room 677).
Cons: Bathroom facilities were verging on too small and wet shaving was a little bit difficult. The bathroom had a tiny restricted hand basin.
Location: Excellent location in mid town Manhattan. Handy for Broadway, Times Square, 5th Avenue, the Empire State Building etc.
Our first night in the hotel was in Room 635 and was uncomfortable. The room was too hot, the bed far too hard and most importantly street noises kept me awake. I subsequently complained and was moved to the back of the hotel (room 677) which was much to our liking and reflects my review of the hotel. Hotel staff were always very helpful and pleasant.

Cheap. Hotel near. Times SquarePosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Staff, always helpful.
Cons: Room heating, whoch in minus 11 centigrade could do with being a bit warmer.
Location: Times Square and all the midtown things.
Good location, very handy for Times Square. Very small rooms, no facilities rxcept japanese restaurant and tiny bar, local diners not too bad, recommend Giorgios for breakfast. No lounge, and verybusy with younger noisy people. I woudl recommend that you request (demand) a room above the ground flor, these are very noisy and draughty. Staff are very freindly and helpful, and moved us to a much better room when requested after the first night. Niceish place, very clean and tidy but no palace. Not very good for families with younger rchildren.

Great location, comfortable roomPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Central location, bathroom.
Cons: TV reception was analogue, some channels went a little fuzzy.
Location: Broadway/Times Square, so all the shows and shops, and Ellen's Stardust Diner! (Look it up it's amazing).
I stayed in a ground floor double room (standard size as far as I know). Not much of a view (backs of buildings) but the room itself was great. It was very spacious and the bed was huge (you could have slept three people in it), with TV and a great alarm clock that was also an ipod dock/speaker. I asked for a room with a bath and was very pleased to get one, as a plus it had bath jets - I hardly ever have a bath at home so I used this one every day! The toiletries provided were nice too - lavender and peppermint - although no bubble bath so just used shower gel, it bubbles up a little bit. The location was ideal - in midtown so central for travelling all around by subway, bus or walking. Also 10% off flyers for Georgio's Grill two blocks away, good for breakfasts. Close to Broadway, Rockerfeller Centre and lots of restaurants and shows.

Wish I could of upgraded to a bigger room but it was nice here. Only annoying thing was the heater made a weird noise at times.

Would stay againPosted Mar 2, 2014
Petite room just as it sounds petite. Perfect for one person, small with single bed but still very nice room. Very short walk to everything you need in NYC without being in a noisy area. Staff were very helpful.

Good location and nice decor.....Posted Mar 1, 2014
Nice clean hotel close to Times Square and other attractions. Room appears to be recently updated and was nice but very very small (as are other hotels in New York). Bed very uncomfy, was unable to get a good nights sleep.... Mattress placed on piece of wood as base. Rooms very noisy early in morning (8am) impossible to have a lie in as walls paper thin. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Walking distance to the theatre district.Posted Feb 24, 2014
I loved staying at this place. I should stay right off if you are looking for a ritzy dazzling hotel experience, this is not the place for you, go spend the big money and stay at the Plaza or the Waldorf. But if you are like me and are looking for an affordable place to lay your head at night in clean sheets and a nice hot shower in the morning before you embark on some incredible Manhattan adventure then this is the place for sure. The Hotel staff was very helpful, even holding my bags before check in time so that I could go out and buy tickets for that night's show without lugging bags all over the city. The room I had was about 10X12 foot bedroom and a bathroom with shower. It was clean and comfy. I was 100 yards from the theater where "Wicked" is playing and about a 3 or 4 minute walk to the ticket booth on Times Square. Three different subway stations are within one block of the hotel to take you uptown, downtown and the E train (express) that connects to the Airtrain to the airport. It was great if your the bargain hunter who wants to be right in the thick of things. I will definitely stay here again.

CosyPosted Feb 24, 2014
I found all the staff of this hotel to be warm friendly and very attentive to any questions or requests. Whilst the rooms aren't huge. It is New York. The king size bed was ultra comfortable. And the bathroom more than adequate. The hotels position to Broadway and Times Square etc is ideal. I will definitely be back.

Nice hotel located centrally.Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: It's location, very central for restaurants, shopping and theatres. Small intimate hotel.
Cons: Controlling the temperature of the heating in the rooms.
Location: There were theatres and good restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance. Times Square and shopping all within easy walking distance.
Very warm welcome on arrival. Rooms ready on arrival which was great after our 7 + hour flight. Rooms quite small but adequate. Able to control heating would be beneficial. Rooms clean (bedding appeared to be changed every day) and well presented. Guest room doors bang easily, maybe a slow close mechanism would alleviate this.
