Great location

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Updating the decor
Location: It is great for all attractions
We arrived at the hotel at about 04.30 on Sunday 19th July.it was very hot and humid. The check in was quick and was told the room was ready but needed towels put in the room. We said it was not a problem. We went upstairs to our room to freshen up. After an hour we called reception to ask about the towels. They said that the delivery had not arrived. There was one small hand towel so we used that. As we were getting ready I noticed that there were no pillow cases on the bed and the previous occupant had kindly left a pair of socks . The room had not been cleaned or made properly. On our way out we told the receptionist of everything and said it would be done by the time we got back. When we did return guess what nothing had been done no pillow cases or towels . We had been travelling all day. Monday morning we had to dry our selves on t shirts that we had brought . When we got back late afternoon yes the towels and pillow cases had arrived. This is not acceptable. Also when booking a cab through hotel to the airport jfk the charge was $57 plus toll we had to pay $10 to reception that left $47 plus toll when we got to airport he charged us $65 so don't book through hotel just get yellow taxi . The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would only stay here again if I got a very cheap deal

People were friendly, accommodations were lacking

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The staff and workers were all friendly and personable. The complimentary breakfast was actually a good, hot meal.
Cons: They just were not ready to accommodate my stay, as they were missing pillowcases and towels because of whichever vendor they use for service.
Location: NYC
The staff and workers were all friendly and personable. The complimentary breakfast was actually a good, hot meal. That's the extent of the good news. The air conditioning was super loud, and could not be left on while I slept, or I would not have slept. Unfortunately, it was 85F without the A/C on, so I paid for my decision. I did not receive my towels and pillow cases until I had spent a whole day at the hotel. And one of the "clean" towels was not really clean.

Decent hotel. Not what we were expecting. Very small hotel. It was nice to have breakfast included but it was a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Quiet and good location. Close to Madison Square Garden and Penn station. Times square is within walking distance. We mainly used the subway to get around.

Great Location

Posted Jul 9, 2015
- Great Location - Spacious room - Delicious hot breakfast - Easy check-in and check-out, but they put a $200 hold on my credit card, which is normal, but I would've liked to be told than to find out by surprise. - The only things that weren't that great we're the staff and customer service. Our room wasn't cleaned on our first day, beds weren't made and towels weren't replaced. The second day was better but still wasn't left like in other hotels. There were 2 friendly staffers, but everyone else didn't seem like they wanted to be there or wanted to answer my questions. Fortunately the location and price outweigh the subpar service. Would still stay here again.

Wenn die Lage zählt...

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: + Lage
Cons: - Ausstattung - Atmosphäre
Location: - Midtown
