An OK hotel, passed its best by date

Posted Aug 1, 2015
The day we arrived with a large number of bags there was no baggage trolley available and after requesting assistance nothing happened. We handled bags to our room and after further chasing got assistance for three pieces on a hand truck. Then no hot water that took some time for maintenance to resolve. Finally after hot shower settled in for a Norma hotel overnight stay. Pool and pool area nicely maintained. Staff just missing on the true service level.

Decent. Nothing amazing but comfortable. Needs some upgrading of loose hardware. But for a quick stop fine

Pros: The hotel was clean
Cons: We were charged for parking ($48.00) when our reservation said parking was included.

スタッフはやや愛想が悪かったけど、ホテルはもんだいなし。 ランドリー有り。25セント硬貨しかつかえません。

Shabby hotel

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: It was right across the street from the airport - but that is not enough to encourage me to stay there again.
Cons: Nearly everything could be improved.
Location: No where to eat, except the boiling hot hotel restaurant.
It took 45 minutes for the hotel shuttle to arrive. Upon arriving at the hotel a tour bus of 50 were in line ahead of me, with only 2 desk attendants. There was no air conditioning in the restaurant or parts of the halls, lobby etc. The condition of the hotel was worn and dated. The wifi kept dropping out and was weak in the hotel rooms. We were there on business and were attempting to Skype with someone and didn't have enough signal to carry out that plan. I learned that the owner of the hotel was a Taiwanese firm and I believe they attempt to cater to tours of folks from Asia and not necessarily the typical business traveler you might get near an airport.

Good but could of been better

The only thing I could say is that the hotel should have more stores around it. But other then that I can't complain needed a room for a short visit and that's what I got. Lastly, wish the bathrooms where bigger felt to small and needed more counter space for bathroom necessity.

Not what I expected

Posted Jul 29, 2015
The pictures on the website made the hotel look a lot nicer than what it really was. Some of the staff were nice, the others very unhelpful. I would not stay here again.

Great for savings, but don't expect much.

The hotel is located close to the airport and easy to take an uber to Newark Penn Station to NYC. There is no rest. or stores close. Only crappy food at the hotel. Hotel staff are emotionless and careless. Hotel is not very clean and our room smelled like pee. Perfect if you just want a cheap place to stay that's close to NYC.
