The bed was old and noisy.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The staff was nice and polite. The bed really was old and very uncomfortable. The room was quiet and parking was ok, although if you have more than one car you will pay $12 extra for the next vehicle. My disappointment has to be the bed. The springs on the bed were loud and annoying.

They will shut down the Internet at night.

They will shut down the Internet at night and the staff will just tell you you cant use it. Stayed here for two nights, cannot use the Internet every night.

old hotel

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff is friendly and accommodating
Cons: Replace shower heads floor by floor, maybe make the mirrors in the bathrooms smaller and add shelves
Hotel is old and it shows. They do what they can to make the guest happy. The bathrooms have no shelf space for hairspray, curling irons, etc. Toilets are the commercial type, showers are hit & miss with hot water, shower heads leave a lot to be desired. Beds are hard, pillows are wonderful. Not all the lamps have bulbs in them so the rooms are dim. Very little to offer in the way of amenities

convenient for when you have an overnight layover

Posted Mar 18, 2015
It wasn't all that nice looking, and the bathroom had minimal counter space, but considering we were only there 1 night for an overnight layover it was perfect. Very close to Newark Airport. We had enough time to take a taxi to Penn Station, NJ and then a train to Madison Square Garden, New York.

Not for the connected traveler

Posted Mar 15, 2015
The hotel is quite OK for the price, conveniently located near the airport, and with a very good shuttle service. But the internet is so poor that it makes it useless for anyone who relies on internet connectivity to be productive.

Decent hotel. Very convenient to airport.

Got this room because I was snowed in. Arrived during a big storm and didn't want to drive to PA where I live. Hotel not nearly as nice as pictures (not many hotels are). Convenient and clean. A little run down but if you just need a place to crash - it'll be perfect. Airport shuttle is a big plus.
