great stayPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: The room was great for the price and the restaurant had excellent food and service.
Cons: Free printing for a boarding pass would have been nice.
The service and amenities were great. Getting to and from the airport was easy.

Close to airportPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Close to the airport. Restaurant was excellent but could use some updates
The hotel filled all my needs as we went to the hotel to get an early flight out of Newark Airport. There was a snow storm reported and I wanted to be close to the airport. Therefor we stayed at this hotel the night before. They have shuttles to the airport all night long. The restaurant was also good and reasonable.

Great in a PinchPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: It was easily accessible from the NJ Turnpike.
Cons: Could use more accessible parking for the hotel guests.
Location: I was able to have Dinner in downtown Newark, only 20 minutes from the hotel.
I had to be in NYC for meetings on Friday morning. I was able to find this hotel in Newark, near the airport and the NJ Turnpike, that enabled me to get rested up and be at my best for my meeting the next morning.

Convenient to the Newark airportPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the Newark airport and free wifi.
Cons: Overall facelift is needed. And the issue of the phones being turned-off .... still scratching my head about this ...
It was a pretty worn out property surprisingly. Not my usual Wyndham experience. My room was depressing. I was booked for 1 night, but upon check-in I enquired about what the rate for a 2nd night would be. She said she couldn't give me a rate because I had booked a package through Expedia. I couldn't understand what difference that made as all I wanted was a rate for the next night because there was a chance I would need to stay one extra night. When I got to the room I needed to make a call because I was having an issue with my mobile phone and I was told that I would have to come down and make a $20 deposit before they could "turn the phone on". (What century are they in??). The food from the downstairs restaurant was yummy. I ordered take-out and sat at the bar while I waited for my food. The bartender Rick was so friendly and accommodating I decided to stay and eat my meal there with him. He was the highlight of my one-night stay. FREE wifi and the shuttle between the airport and the hotel is a plus.

Almost a costly mistakePosted Mar 9, 2014
I'll begin by saying that the staff at the hotel was great! From the front desk to the guest room attendants, to the facilities guys... they were pleasant and kind my entire stay. However, the facility itself is not what I expected. The other Wyndham properties that I have stayed at were wonderful. This was not that way. First the location is horrible in that the freeway system is a cruel maze that makes it next to impossible to get to. I got lost for an hour one night...where I could physically see the hotel but could not get to it. Next the decor is so dark and dated that you feel that you are being overcharged for the room. Then the internet service in the room was so poor that I had to go down to the lobby to take care of business, and I was there on business. Lastly, the elevator is the slowest that I have ever been in. In summary, I would not suggest that a friend stay there because they would feel the same as I. Once again the staff was great...they met my human needs but the hotel did not meet my business needs. -Carl

Good Hotel convenient to Newark AirportPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Good location and efficient shuttle service.
Cons: Staff were a little brisk but not impolite.
Location: This is strictly and airport hotel, nothing to walk to in the area.
Stayed just one night here but found the hotel and facilities to be great. Room was clean and well equipt, restaurant food was good and not too expensive. The airport shuttle runs to P4 at Newark International every 1/2 hour so was very convenient and took just 5/10 mins in the bus.

Nice hotel close to airportPosted Mar 4, 2014
Hotel was really great. The hallway decor is a bit dated, but everything inside seemed really new. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom facilities were great. The 24/7 airport shuttle runs every half hour, which was really convenient for getting to and from the airport (I got in around 11:30 pm and had to catch a train from the airport at 8:45). The staff was very nice and helpful, too.

No parking, no help, no dinnerPosted Mar 4, 2014
We arrived at the hotel after a concert. We wanted to grab a bite to eat. There wan not a parking spit anywhere. We went to the desk and asked for help. They said they would but didn't. It took us 30 minutes to park and by the time we did the kitchen was closed. Even when we explained what happened they did nothing. Dinner ended up being a stale banana muffin from their convenience store.

Nice place, friendly, hard to get toPosted Mar 1, 2014
My 1-night stay was fine, no problems at all, nice staff. But if you're not familiar with the area, call the hotel to get directions. The hotel is visible from the interstate but is very difficult to actually get to if you're following GPS. Hotel staff said (when I finally got there) that guests should call for directions.

Quick check in. Clean bed. Kinda loud on the first floor, but not a big deal.
