Great location, attentive staff and comfy bedPosted Aug 20, 2014
Great central Chelsea location. Lots of restaurants, shopping and transportation nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and responsive to requests. AC was a little loud but kept us cool.

Great location in ChelseaPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Convenient location and friendly staff
Cons: Shower curtain situation - the bathroom floods terribly
Location: Close to train station and cute cafes
The building and rooms are okay, small and basic, but... New York. So. What we liked was the friendly staff and the location - its on a quiet tucked away part of the street so its sheltered from the usual NY racket. The only time we had a noise problem was from inside the hotel, sounded like 300 teenage girls throwing a party in the next room.. But that was a one-time thing. Its really close to the 23rd st station so getting the train everywhere is a breeze and theres a cool restaurant just next door. Plenty to look at on 6th and lots of fun stuff a short walk or train ride away. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy, my only concern was that the shower curtains suck and the bathroom floods like crazy... Seriously someone should get on that (but its not exactly a dealbreaker). I've spent a fair bit of time in NY but this was my first time staying in Chelsea, I'd definitely stay in Chelsea again and I'd happily return to the Wyndham for its convenient location.

Nothing bad to sayPosted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: The location was within easy walking distance to several different subway lines.
This hotel met all of our expectations. My teenaged daughter and I were in NYC to shop and see the sights. While the room was small, the small size is to be expected in New York and this room was comfortable. The hotel was quiet and because of the arrangements of rooms, we were only able to hear one other guest coming and going. There was absolutely no street noise. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again.

Second stay at hotelPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room, comfortable bed, clean, very helpful staff
Cons: I can always go for less expensive
Location: Much in area (Madison square park, restaurants, inexpensive nearby place for breakfast n/or coffee, easy taxi/subway/bus access to other areas
This was a return time at this hotel for us. We generally use a hotel as a base, and this hotel served us well. Comfortable bed, good sleep, clean, and very nice and helpful staff.

Nice hotel in nice areaPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: I like the employees, managers and housekeepers. Also the location and facilities are ok.
Cons: Room cleanness.
Location: There are two subway stations near on street 23. Also the neighborhood is safe. There are parks and good restaurant around the hotel.
Close to subway stations (yellow and orange) and good restaurants. Room is almost clean but if you are obsessed with cleanness maybe this hotel is not for you. Rooms can be more clean but for me it works. Clean sheets and excellent employees on the front desk and house keepers.

Great location!Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: great location within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions awesome restaurants close too (Tappo and Tre Stella)
Cons: the bed wasn't as soft as we would have liked the elevator was a bit slow coming down when waiting in the lobby.
Location: The hotel was in a great location within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions: Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building
The hotel was in a great location within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions. Awesome restaurants close too (Tappo and Tre Stella). We were able to go north two days to see what we wanted there and then went south for a day to see the attractions there. The lobby and our room were clean and cozy. The only slightly negatives were that the bed wasn't as soft as we would have liked (though we're used to a Tempur-Pedic) and the elevator was a bit slow coming down when waiting in the lobby. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again.

A little disappointed.Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The room could be larger (we were four people and could not move easily). The bathroom vanity could be a bit larger too.
Location: There is a lot to do nearby the hotel. Shopping was great.
The location of the hotel is perfect but the room was way too small for four people. However, people at the reception were great.

Good TimesPosted Jul 21, 2014
We stayed here from July 17 to July 20; typical New York size hotel room. I felt comfortable with no issues. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Location was great. Would book at this hotel again.
