Location: Great restaurant, Jack Doyle 1 block from hotel, WVU alumni welcomed, bartenders were wonderful. Nice irish pub.
Easy entrance from tunnel, subway on corner. Parking around the corner for $46. Nice comfortable room.

Great Location, Old New York Charm

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: We like the old world charm and history of this hotel.
Location: 10 minute walk to Time Square, Penn Station and Madison Square Garden just across the road. Perfect Location when exploring being Midtown.
We arrived and had booked 1 room for our family of 5 and we were upgraded to a suite with 2 bathrooms and amazing views of NYC. We found all the staff to be caring and offered great service.

Half a block to Penn Station.

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Historic and great location
Cons: Shower surround could be updated.
Location: Easy cab ride to Pete's Tavern. One block from MSG, one block from Empire state.
Nice hotel. Clean. Bed decent. Bathroom a little dated, but didn't bother us. Location great, next to Penn Station. Easy walk to NJ Transit Airtrain. Great value. Would stay here again.

Great hotel

Great location and fantastic lobby! Perfect subway access. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating! I wish the bathroom was a bit bigger and that the door to it would open all the way, but otherwise I would definitely stay at the New Yorker again!

Rooms too old and not to be called a 4 star hotel

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Rooms are tiny - I understand, this is NYC. But the bathroom looked like it had not been updated since the 60s - cracked tiny basin, lever toilet (the kind you have at public bathrooms in city parks), dusty and dirty areas, and an ancient bathtub. Wyndham, you can do better. I know some rooms are being renovated, but if you aee selling thw old rooms, call them 2 star rooms and price them accordingly.

Nice hotel, close to MSG

Posted Jan 26, 2015
The room was updated and clean but very tiny, the room extended maybe 3-4 feet on each side of the bed. the bathroom was dated and there was a hair in the shower so that was less than ideal but overall I would stay there again especially if going to another event at Madison square garden

Hotel liegt direkt bei einer Metrostation. Das Empire State Building ist wie viele andere Sehenswürdigkeite in unmittelbarer Nähe.
