I stayed with my mother-in-law and two children in a loft suite. The room was huge, so the kids had room to play and have their own space. Bed and pull-out sofa were very comfortable. Front lobby provides complimentary water and fresh fruit daily, which was appreciated after a full day of being touristy in Manhattan! In addition, 2 complimentary bottles of water were in the fridge upon our arrival and were replenished as needed. A complimentary chocolate bar (good chocolate, too!) was another nice touch. Only complaints were minor, in my opinion: the air conditioning/heating unit was very loud when it came on, sounding like a truck idling outside the window. The shower took a while to warm up and had low pressure, but was fine. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the subway, but I knew that when I booked the room. The shuttle was usually available, but be prepared to wait a few minutes, especially if it is raining. This hotel is beautiful and we appreciated the artwork throughout. Overall, a very comfortable place to relax in between exploring Manhattan!

The Pearl is a super hotel - so close to Times Square but quiet and relaxed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent and room spacious and comfy with a magnificent power shower.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. Whilst the hotel is set in a busy part of NYC, a stones throw away from the iconic public library, our room was off the street allowing us to have a peaceful night. I loved the decor and the staff were really helpful. Our fridge was regularly replenished, at no cost to us, and the room was always clean and tidy when we got back to freshen up in the afternoon.

Booked this hotel through Expedia and had the best experience. The hotel is beautiful very art deco and you feel like you are in The Great Gatsby. The room was huge, plush and comfortable. Did not want to leave the sumptuous bed, but its great location next to Central Park was key to visit this beautiful area, near the Museums and fantastic restaurants. On 5th Avenue so easy to walk to the shops. The staff were very helpful, always cheerful and happy to accommodate any request.

The staff were absolutely excellent from arrival right through our stay. We arrived to a buzzing atmosphere with many enjoying cocktails in the foyer and a Jazz Pianist. Our room on the 5th floor was superb - the room had every amenity you could think of, the mini bar had every spirit available I could think of, the bathroom was incredible, and getting into bed every night after a long day of sight seeing and taking in New York, was a fantastic feeling.
Being so central, I was concerned it might be noisy but we could not hear a thing from Times Square. Great access to the subway station, so within minutes you could be downtown walking the Brooklyn Bridge, in Greenwich Village enjoying a cocktail, or taking a stroll through Central Park.
I would go so far as saying this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, if not the best. If you are looking for a boutique hotel, with a central location I could not recommend this enough. Absolutely superb.
