No AC😓Posted Apr 20, 2015
Everything was great about the hotel except that the AC would not go into cooling because the outside temperature was supposedly cool enough.

Overall room was very nice. Unable to regulate temperature and staff unable to provide a fan. Room too warm for me.

NO ACPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: They were able to change the room so that it was a little more quite (due to having the window open) and the breeze was better on this side.
Location: Asked the driver about local places to eat.
We had a late check in and found that this hotel has no AC during this time of the year. When I asked the front desk about this issues I was told to open the window and that I didn't need AC. Now don't get me wrong I am all about being flexible but for this guy to tell me what I need is not professional.

Hotel stay include parking. When you arrive no space left. Internet do not work. Old facilities and small rooms

It was okay. The breakfast was good. The rooms were small. And parking was tight. I would recommend but I would let my friend know what to expect.

Great hotel with nice amenities and good location.Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The bar food in the restaurant. The breakfast. The location in downtown Newark. The ease of getting in and out of NYC. The roof-top terrace.
Cons: Can't think of anything that could be improved.
Location: The NJ Performing Arts Center is across the street. A historical society/museum is a couple of doors away. The train station is close by.
We stayed one night during a layover at Newark Airport. We didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of this hotel: our room, its restaurant, the breakfast, frequent shuttle service, and staff. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable.

Handy to Penn Station and the Newark campusesPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Good location, convenient to transport and restaurants, free "continental" breakfast includes some nice hot food, exercise room fine.
Cons: Oatmeal was terrible; wish parking on check-out day was good through end of business day rather than noon.
I came down for a trip with one day in Manhattan and one day at New Jersey Institute of Technology. The location was super-handy for that: it's an 8-minute walk to Newark Penn Station and Newark has a light rail (and the hotel a shuttle) you can use as well from what I understand, although those didn't seem as convenient as walking. Staff folks and guests were friendly, it was pretty easy to get to, room was plenty nice, free breakfast was overall good and parking mostly worked for me. So, generally positive.
