Pros: Location
Very pleasant stay. Staff was very accommodating. Location is in walking distance to the Prudential Center. A plus, the hotel has a parking so we did not have to pay $30.00 for parking.

We came in from out of state for my daughter's college graduation. It was very early in the morning so we wanted to avoid traffic the day of. Location was safe, which was my main concern. Hotel was a nice surprise. The staff was fabulous.

Graduation Trip everything was in walking distance

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: I truly liked everything about the hotel, there are a lot of funtions at this property and it is in walking distance from the shops.
Location: The location was just wonderful, you are downtown, the train station is about 10 minutes if you walk, but the hotel has a shuttle that takes you there.
Make sure to take a jacket the nights could get a little chilly some times. It's very close to the colleges in the area.

Great Deal

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. Well taken care of.
Cons: Parking information could be given at time of booking. It was confusing.
Location: Easy walk to Prudential center.
Great service. Friendly staff. Accommodations were very nice. Clean rooms with all amenities. We stayed to be close to Prudential center for a graduation. It was perfect. Early continental breakfast was perfect and it was a short, easy walk to the center. We got a very good deal and it was well worth the money. Would do it again.

Our room smelled as if it had once been a smoking room. Our clothes and belongs that we had in the room took on the oder and we were only there from 9 pm. until 6:30am.

Hôtel proche du lieu de la conférence

Posted May 20, 2015

Convenient to the airport

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Location and shuttle
Cons: Foam pillows were not comfortable. Rooms are tiny (but obviously can't be improved). Some staff members could use "hospiality" training.
Location: Great little organic cafe a couple blocks away called Harvest Table. Gluten free options...very friendly staff.
Decent location...some of the staff were nice, some were indifferent. Typical of this part of the country though I believe. Airport shuttle driver was very friendly and engaging. I did not appreciate the response from the front desk when asked if I could have a room NOT near the elevator as I'm a light sleeper. I was then given room 701 (adjacent to the elevator) and told the hotel was sold out (we checked in at 3:30pm). Our bed was probably no more than 5 ft from the elevator shaft and of course very loud (like a train) after about 5am. Needless to say there was no rest for the weary here. Very disappointing. I had a difficult time believing it was sold out as we saw very few people the lobby, restaurant/bar, or on our floor. All we wanted was a nice place to sleep as we had a 12 hour trip ahead of us. We will not return.

Good hotel near airport

Posted May 13, 2015
We arrived late in Newark and were pleased that the hotel had a shuttle service. The front desk employee kindly allowed us to change our room from one next to an elevator to something quieter. The room was clean, spacious enough and we had a good sleep. Breakfast was decent and we were shuttled to the train station by a very enthusiastic, knowledgeable driver who told us more about the history of the hotel. All in all, it was a good experience.
