Shuttle to and from airport was convenient

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: The shuttle to and from the airport was efficient and convenient, and the service was very good.
Cons: The restaurant.
Location: Convenient to Penn Station, theaters, sports venues, downtown, etc.
Maize, the restaurant in the hotel was awful. The food was not prepared the way I asked that it be prepared. The service was poor. When I sent back the raw fish, it was "nuked." I could go on and on, but...

Good hotel for early morning flight from EWR

Posted Apr 8, 2014
This hotel was very well located for getting to Newark airport - about a five minute walk from the Newark Penn Station and with regular shuttles to the airport. I didn't want to wake up really early in Manhattan and have to pay for a cab just because the trains weren't running, so I came out to Newark the night before my flight. There are some decent restaurant options in the neighbourhood, so it worked out well. The bed was very comfortable and quiet, and the shuttle left promptly as promised (at 4:30 am!).

Great service; convenient to Newark airport

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Close to the airport; excellent airport shuttle
I had a one night stay at Best Western Robert Treat in between flights. The free airport shuttle was extremely convenient and ran on schedule (every half hour). My three sons really enjoyed the breakfast before the early morning flight. When one of my sons spilled coffee they were helpful cleaning it up. Entire staff was friendly.

Disappointing stay

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Very close to Penn Station
Cons: customer service by the front desk staff
Stayed here for 4 nights, extremely disappointed with the unfriendly front desk staff.Rooms were clean but need some soundproofing as you can here all the noises from outside. There was constant smell of smoke coming through our bathroom vent, and it was almost unbearable to use the washroom. Continental breakfast was good, shuttle service to the airport was also nice.

OK Hotel near PAC and Penn Station

Posted Mar 24, 2014
The hotel was nice looking, but the staff was at best accommodating. Not rude, but barely friendly with the exception of the shuttle drivers and the breakfast attendants. The breakfast was great and the coffee is good…very important.
