Business travelers delight

Pros: Room, proximity to highways, comfort, staff
Cons: Service at the lobby bistro/Starbucks is a bit slow for when I need to get out for work
Location: I often eat at the restaurants in the adjacent shopping center and have enjoyed the dine-in movie theater.
I often stay in this area for a single night. Every trip I choose this hotel. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. The room is always spotless and has many features I need as a business traveler. The location has easy access to and from several main state highways, and the downtown area. I also love the proximity to shopping and restaurants for when I have a few free minutes or don't want to eat in the hotel. All of my co-workes now stay here as well.

Beautiful decor, plenty of pillows.

Room was spotless, very cozy. Slept the whole night which is something hard for me to do when away from home.

OK but Nothing Special

We stayed the previous night in the Best Western hotel in Watertown, NY. The Best Western was about the same quality but at half the price and included a very good free breakfast.

Please remember that rates are dictated by the area the hotel is located in and type of hotel. Courtyards do offer the Bistro for both breakfast and dinner. We hope that you will consider staying with us in the future should your travels bring you back to the area.

In town for a concert

The bed was very very comfortable. The room was very very small. No space to move. Needed about 15 extra feet somewhere.

disappointing

Pros: not one thing
Cons: customer service
My husband stayed there and the toilet wasn't working.... he called the front desk to address the issue. they knew about what had occurred and yet did not apologize. they sent someone up with a plunger vs. a handyman... so my question is, if a guess calls and advises them there one of their units isn't working appropriately, the guess should go figure it out for themselves?

My apologies for the inconvenience your husband experienced during his stay with us. We certainly take every guest issue seriously and would never ask a guest to do anything themselves. I am not sure what time this happened, but it may have been that we did not have maintenance on so the front desk tried to resolve the issue. I will speak with my staff to make sure that they understand when an issue is presented to them they need to see it to it's conclusion. I have also passed your comments along to my maintenance staff so that the issue your husband experienced does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention.

Great for Central/Northern NJ

The room was great and comfortable. Liked the Bistro there, which was convenient. It's a good reasonable place for that area of NJ.

Good mid-range hotel. Very close to I-280. Mall next door is convenient and nearby Montclair has good restaurants.

Mother's day weekend!

Very nice relaxing weekend, everything close by. We had a nice check in, room was very clean and smelled very fresh. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. We had a very pleasant stay. Most important our room was very clean.

Over all it was fine for what it was for. Came in during a very bad rain storm and the GPS directions were a little off. Hotel lobby was leaking water. Café was still serving food, which was great because didn't want to go back out in the rain. However, one server for bar and she was also the cook. Didn't mind waiting because I have been in the food/beverage service industry and she was short staff (the only staff) and was hustling but had to play bartender, server and cook. I was a little put off that the front desk hotel staff was leaning around watching her run around and not helping at all. That is the only thing negative I can say about my experience. -Nina
