The hotel was right by the airport so as expected it was a pretty industrial, ugly area with lots of noise. All of that would have been fine, but I had a terrible nights sleep. The hot water in the shower only lasted about 60 seconds (leaving me freezing cold), the walls were very thin and there were loud people in the hallway. To top it off, the EXTREMELY loud room phone rang at 1:50 am and woke me up. I had definitely not ordered a wake up call. At least the room seemed clean and the bed was fairly comfortable.

Overall nice did not like the fact that I was charged for Parking there was no microwave in the room and had a big empty space in the room like a couch was supposed to be in it. Room did not look like the picture online

The area seems a little sketchy. But the hotel itself is clean, room is nice, comfy bed. Had burgers at the TK bar which was ok. Pricey for what we got but beat having to leave the hotel. One night stay for night before our cruise. If noise is an issue this would not be the place. The airport is a stone throw away

My 1 night stay was horrible. After i checked in and got settled for the night I wanted to take a shower but the water was cold, i told that to the front desk and was told nothing could be done about it. I asked for a discount on my room for the inconvenience and they again said they couldnt do anything about that. Complete waste of money

Paper-thin walls and adjoining doors allowed us to enjoy the conversations of the adjoining rooms all night…well, until the whine from some distant heating system kicked in, and then the air conditioner came on to fight with it. The hotel could clearly use some love - the door on the bathroom didn’t close completely, the faucet head nearly came off when we turned it on, and every bedsheet had some kind of vague stain on it. I don’t expect perfection in an airport-adjacent hotel, but given its location, next to a noisy turnpike entrance in a neighborhood that clearly has seen better days, Holiday Inn could invest in making this place a bit less disappointing on the inside. There are far better Newark airport options, especially with the not-that-much-better rate.

The stay was ok. No complains with one exception. Upon leaving while at the airport i remembered that i left my black leather cap in the cloaet in the room. (707). I have called several times to feont desk and housekeeping and i have not received a call back. Very frustrating. Its my favorite cap. Also its just rude and unprofessional.

What I didn't like was that my reservation did not show up at the hotel, we searched everywhere. there is no "live" number to call for help and after 24 hours of travelling, I had to figure out my way thru the AI Bots, it took me over an hour to finally get a reservation which, in the end, cost me an addition $25. Fortunately, the hotel staff provided me with a breakfast voucher.
