“Comfortable pillows”

This hotel is nothing out of the ordinary, either good or bad. It was clean, neat, and the staff were nice. It was a reasonable drive to where I had to work in Milpitas/San Jose, and an easy enough drive to San Francisco. The entrance to 880 (both N and S) is right across the street, which was convenient, although it is slow with the traffic at unexpected times. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel at all, except that my small bathroom's door opened inward making it hard to get around for showers... and I would definitely stay there again. My favorite part was I had a king bed all to myself, and 5 fluffy, perfect down pillows to sink into at the end of a long day. That's my nirvana.

Area recommendations

Newark and Fremont are huge strip mall areas. Just scuttle up to Half Moon Bay and San Francisco for fun. Also, if you like redwoods and great cafes, check out Santa Cruz. Great Pho right across the street from the hotel, and a Starbucks right there.

“Pool was closed”

Overall the room was comfortable. Hilton's are nice. The staff told us we were getting a room with a nice view......we saw the highway and a closed pool with broken up floor around the pool (possibly under renovation).

“Too many selfish tourgroups”

During the night we stayed at the hotel, there was a lot of noise coming from our neighbors, which were a part of a tourgroup. They were speaking and moving loudly in the hallways and it did not allow us to have a good night's rest. At the breakfast buffet in the morning, the same people who were part of the tourgroups would take the pitchers of juice to their own table, leaving us with little or no drinks until a waiter would get a new pitcher of juice.

“Didn't Expect Such A Bad Service from a Hilton Hotel”

We were very dissatisfied w/ the service received coming from a distinct hotel by Hilton. After having booked a month & a half in advance, you'd think they would have our room in order. Very bad experience especially having to re-locate our rooms twice & still experienced the same problems with burned-out light bulbs which were difficult to replace by the Security Guard.

San Francisco. Because of the beautiful sights & scenes which is an understatement.
