Discomfort InnPosted Aug 19, 2014
Location: The Hudson Valley has alot of things to do.
There is NOTHING positive I can say about my stay. When I pulled into the parking lot scary people were sitting and laying on the sidewalk smoking and drinking alcohol. The courtesy desk, made fun of me and my partner by mocking my accent. The hallways were dirty, litter covering the floor and they smelled. The room also smelled horrible, with one of the two beds smelling like a combination of b.o. and cigarettes. The tv was old style, something I could not give away at my last yard sale. And the a.c. was noisy. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not stay at another Comfort Inn.

You get what you pay forPosted Aug 4, 2014
Old, run down. Peeling stained wallpaper. Ripped carpet. Breakfast was a joke.

Disappointing stay.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Ice machine worked well.k
Cons: Clean the place would be a start.
Location: Across the street from a truckstop, so if you are a trucker, stay here.
This hotel was filthy. From the carpet to the ceilings, everything was worn and dirty. We were greatly disappointed. Signs were posted that they were renovating, but we didn't see any improvements any where.

Good valuePosted Jul 22, 2014
This hotel offers good value. The price is reasonable and it provides all the basics as well a decent complimentary breakfast. Easy to get to and close to restaurants. We arrived at approximately 2.30pm and were advised that there were absolutely no check ins before 3pm. But we were allowed to use the outdoor pool facilities while we waited. So when planning an arrival, I would recommend keeping this in mind.

Very stinkyPosted Jul 19, 2014
Location: It is near the Stewart Airport, the military installation there, West Point and the USDA Animal Import Center
The first room we walked into smelled dirty, old dirt, like Grandpa and his room smelled when he was past getting in the shower himself. Maybe the carpet was just past what a cleaning could do? Maybe the mattresses were just that old? The man at the reception desk was very understanding when I tried to check out and go to another hotel, he even made phone calls, but seems no room at any other inn in the area. So we tried an other room, on the "newer" side of the hotel. It did not smell as bad, but still....Carpet and mattresses maybe? I sprayed perfume around, since the hotel staff did not seem to be armed with Febreez, and was able to sleep. The bathroom was clean, and did seem to have been upgraded within the last few years. Also, this hotel is being changed into another chain, a more upscale one. So construction is underway. My feeling is though, it will take a lot of work to get the old hotel smell out of the building and this hotel comes off my list of referals to clients.

Good for a 1 night restPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Free breakfast
Cons: needs renovation
Location: Went skydiving and hiking
The hotel was good for my purpose of just a quick stop to catch some rest. The hotel is old, dingy, and smelled like cigarettes. But that staff is very welcoming and helpful. Definitely not worth the price that you are paying.

Older, but good enough for the nightPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Nice breakfast room.
Cons: Old tv, small bathroom, few and thin towels
Location: Just passing through.
Quick stay. A place to sleep only for us. Clean, but somewhat outdated. Hard to see sign right off the road. People nice.

Clean and comfortablePosted Jul 7, 2014
After staying for years at the Ramada on Rte 300, we were so disappointed last few stays as to the quality of the rooms, no air, hard pillows.. what a difference at the Comfort Inn! Clean and bright, our WIFI didn't want to connect, but aside from that, it was a very pleasant stay.

Convenient location and pleasant room.Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: The rooms although small are nice.
Cons: Breakfast !
Location: Newburgh airport
Have stopped here several times in the past and the hotel is a bit old but is being remodeled. Room was comfortable but the breakfast buffet went from bad to worse. Coffee was tasteless as well as the hot food. Fruits were poor quality and breads stale. Not a very good breakfast experience - wound up at Duncan Donuts.
