My room was nice and clean and felt very safe for a single female traveler. I think they put me in this room with thought. The check in was awkward though..no one was there. Key exchange not secure...and no one on site if there was a problem. Room was very quiet though. The matress was heavenly ..asked employee what kind it was .bit she had no idea! >i slept great in this room!>This room was not completely accesible. If i were in a wheelchair i could not get to the big closet .and iron.the fridge and table were blocking it. The fridge didnt work too well anyway...when turned on it will start this annoying buzzing sound. Had to turn it off.

Really nice Motel, great decor and very clean. Amazing Mexican restaurant across the street. The only thing, wish it was open for continental breakfast early as we had to check out at between 6 and 7am. Definitely coming back :)

It was easy to find, pleasant and had a frig, generous coffee and, a continental breakfast that turned out to be handy. Easy drive to West Point. Slightly out of town so not necessarily walkable though one restaurant is across the street. Receptionist is friendly and knowledgeable.

I can't stand the internet...IT DOES NOT WORK! Inconvenience to leave your room to use a microwave in a dirty, filthy room with bugs, a torn up screen door to enter. You charge these highvpriced for a garbage hoyel. I only stayed here because Holiday Inn Express down the rd was full. LOWER your prices It's not a nice place to stay. It's only a convenience close to WestPoint. I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Skip West Point Hotel
Room musty. Bed uncomfortable. Bathroom not clean. No soap in shower. Carpet threadbare. Steep steps / no elevator. Had to carry heavy suitcase up two floors. Rating on hotels.com not reflected by condition of room.

The Motel was way overpriced, and the breakfast consisted of coffee, tea and an assortment of muffins, water and juices. The redeeming quality is that it is less than 2 miles to the academy.

I am grateful that there are options in the west point area, particularly post COVID. However, we will not be returning. In fact, we left after 1 night despite paying for 2 nights. We did not receive a refund for the 2d night and as a motel that survived COVID, I get it. However, this is very much a MOtel. The sheets and towels were like sandpaper (does that mean they were clean ie washed in industrial strength bleach? I hope so!). The wall to wall carpet on the floor totally skeeved me. The sink (open to the room, as opposed to in the bathroom) didn’t drain well. The fridge was very loud as was the in wall air conditioner. We were there for a football game so all of West Point was booked that weekend. Based on other reviews I thought it would be a bit nicer. Not to mention the overall cost of over $300/night. I was wrong. I don’t know if I can ever trust reviews again. We definitely did not get what we paid for.

Evaluation of the West Point Motel
This motel was in very good, to excellent condition. There was a problem with the cold water, which never got really cold unless it was run for 10 minutes, or so. It also got a brownish color on the 2nd night, but this was NOT due to any condition caused by the motel, it was the town of Highland Falls, purging the incoming water, which was likely complicated by unusually large amounts of rainfall for several days. Still, I would not hesitate to recommend this very clean, comfortable facility.

Motel in a perfect location
Perfect location if you are visiting West Point. Hotel does not have many amenities but it was clean and comfortable. Parking just in front of our room. The AC was a little noisy as was the fridge. A microwave would have been a nice addition. Check-in was easy and fast. Will definitely consider this motel again for a future stay.

The motel is in close proximity to West Point and Highland Falls downtown. The property seems to be clean and safe. The staffs are nice.
