Close to the airport and good links to the cityPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location - Excellent for the airport and city (via the Metro) Great customer service and clean and comfortable rooms.
Stayed one night for the Great North Run - Hotel had laid on special extras for runners, including a glass of prosecco on completion of the race and the use of showers as well.

Above expectationsPosted Sep 8, 2014
Stayed just one night for great north run, welcoming reception on check in. Whilst out of town proved an excellent choice for an easy journey for the race . Even used the hotel bar after returning from race and was given a free drink and delicious cookies and warm congatulations plus use of a shower. Great service over and above!

Very close hotel within easy walk from airport.Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Close to airport. very comfortable, staff appreciated and showed empathy with our state after flying in from Thailand via Dubai.
Cons: The restaurant needs to keep adequate stock of wine advertised on the menu. After choosing three wines, none was available.
Location: Not a lot to do. (OK though recovery from long haul flight priority). Location close enough to walk with luggage and journey onward via Metro System.
After a long haul flight the room was very comfortable and clean . The staff where very accommodating and are a bonus to this hotel.

Great start to our honeymoonPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: It's location and the restaurant.
We stayed here the day after our wedding as we were flying out from Newcastle airport early the next morning. The checkin process was easy and quick and the reception staff were very helpful when we needed to print off some of our travel documents. We ate in the Italian restaurant in the hotel - the food was fantastic as was the service. Check out was simple and it was only a short walk over to the airport.

Convenient and comfortablePosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Everything - helpful staff, comfortable rooms and public areas, great food!
Cons: Nothing to improve on
Location: Adjacent to airport, with easy access into Newcastle centre by Metro
We had 3 weeks at this hotel while visiting from Canada. It's right next to Newcastle airport, but the noise from aircraft is minimal. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Both the Columbus Bar and Fratellos restaurant serve wonderful food, and the service is excellent. Found all staff to be friendly and professional. There is underground parking with direct access into the hotel, as well as parking above beside the hotel.

Good hotel close to airport and Metro Trains.Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: It is so close to Newcastle Airport and The Metro Station which provides an excellent service.
Location: Explore Newcastle on Tyne Visit Hadrian's wall with all its interesting points along the way.
We stayed on two separate nights in Double Tree, Newcastle. It was perfect for visiting Newcastle and the surrounds before we went further afield. We enjoyed staying there, staff extremely helpful, kind and always smiling. The menu had a wide choice of meals, well presented .

Very comfortable and modern and a step up from Premier Inn and Travel Inn in general facilities. Quiet despite being close to airport.

More than an airport hotelPosted Aug 10, 2014
Stayed one night before our flight Beautiful new spacious rooms Used the italian restaurant and althiugh not cheap was reasonably priced and very good quality Breakfast in morning buffet style but plenty of everything hot or cold Really is 2 mins walk to terminal Metro link right outside so could consider hotel for visiting newcastle city itself as its such a quality hotel for the price hard to find in the city

This is a good hotel located right at the airport (you come out the terminal and you will see it). The room was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
