I am very disappointed with your comment Geoffrey. I am 35 years doing B@B and have enjoyed the business, as you can see from previous reviews people were very pleased with us and we have a big repeat business. Before you came you asked for a quiet room at the back, it was already booked so I offered you a twin room which you declined. You did not give me any approx time for arrival, I had to mind my sick grandchild for a couple hours that afternoon so I left my husband Charles phone number on the door so you could ring him ,which guests have done before. I did not know that you could not use your phone here in Ireland. My neighbour rang and my husband left work immediately to let you in at 3 20 , he was just 5 or 6 minutes away. I can see now why so many Bed and Breakfasts operators are going out of business when they are put under pressure like this.

Hi Darren, thank you for you review, regarding the bed, it is the first time i have heard a comment that it is rock hard, it is commented as being very comfortable but i suppose it is up to each individual. In all my years,31years at B&B I have noticed people dont like soft beds and have spoken very favourly about our beds. It is regarded as the best room and most popular room in the house. To whom it may concern, The reason I do not accept credit card on Expedia Bookings is because I have to pay 15%on each booking per night, this leaves me with 59 50 Euro for a double room, if I had to pay for credit card facilities I think it would not be worth my while being in business.
