Nice decent hotel

Cons: More pillows....duvets
Location: Movie theatre near by, grocery stores and restaurants about 20-30 mins walk.
Place was clean, quiet and comfortable. About 20 min walk to grocery store or restaurants. The pool is lovely, heated. Jacuzzi great as well. Would definatley stay here again. Good stay for good price!!!

Nice motel. Close to shopping and restaurants

Pros: I liked the pool, our room and the friendly staff at this motel. There were security cameras in most locations around the motel which was comforting.
Cons: I would certainly require more space to hang my clothes. There is more than ample space to put in a closet in the room we stayed in.
Location: Shopping and restaurants are all within a few minutes drive.
This hotel was great. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The pool was beautiful and the Jacuzzi was great to relax in. Pool hours were 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days. It was very well maintained. Continental breakfast consisted of toast, bagels, muffins and fruit. Enough to give you a good start to your day. Nice and quiet during the week. Friday brought a noisy hockey team however everything after 11 p.m. was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this to all of my family and friends. Note* If you don't want to walk outside to get to the pool, request a room in the pool house. You can hear the creaky floors when people walk to their rooms but well worth not having to go out in the cold.

Good location, lots of restaurants nearby.

We only stayed here one night.we chose this motel because of the price and location and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was on upper level with two very comfortable queen beds,it was a very cold night so we didn't use the pool or hottub.The included continental breakfast was very nice and the young lady in charge kept everything replenished.

Clean but outdated

Our 'No Smoking' room was clearly smoked in many times. We froze trying to air it out when we arrived. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing and turned the heater up to max and it made the room no warmer. Checked all the drawers for an extra blanket and found none. As far as accessibility to our event and the wonderfully nice staff, it was perfect.

Basic Hotel

A basic motel on the outskirts of Newmarket. Nothing immediately nearby, but just off main strip. It does show some of its age, but if looking for basic no frills accommodations it works.

Comfortable room. Close to town

Pros: It is close to town but not in the hustle.
Cons: Better cleaning staff.
Location: Nothing very close. Canada's Wonderland is a short drive away.
I checked in with my son on Feb 4th. We were there to attend a solemn family affair. The first few days were very nice. room was maintained very well. Second last day the room was not made up and the coffee maker was left dirty. Last day again room not made up and coffee maker left from the day before. To me this spoiled an otherwise nice stay.

Pros: The staff were very pleasent.
Cons: lighting - too dark outside lock on door was difficult to get into the room
Location: very close to everything
I would have called this a "Motel" vs a "Hotel" because access to the room were all from the outside. For my family to access the pool and hot tub, we had to go outside and around dark areas. Would have been nice to have direct inside access to this and been informed. Probabily wold not have stayed at this location know that ahead of time. The weather was snow and very cold

The Plywood Inn with a lovely swimming pool

We had a room on the second floor and we noticed right away how thin the whole structure of the building was. We jokingly started to call it The Plywood Inn. While we were still asleep a neighbour was up taking a shower. It sounded like he was in our room! To spite these flaws, the staff was most helpful and friendly. A swim in the salt water pool and dip in the hot tub the next morning helped turn this experience into a positive.

Well kept hotel and front desk staff were friendly

Pros: Pool and hot tub. Two queen beds in room. Large tv. Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Fridge in room was loud. I think the compressor was going on it. Minor detail. Maybe expand on the breakfest.
Location: Right on the main road. Close to restaurants and shopping.
We had a two night stay here as a result of a hockey tournament. We were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk and given all the ins and outs of the hotel. We found our room to be clean and inviting. Detail to dusting and bathroom cleanliness was nice to see!!This hotel had a pool and large hot tub housed in a separate building. Both were very clean and water was a perfect temperature. Building and grounds are are well kept. Really enjoyed our stay!!

A good place to stay

This isn't the Ritz, but for the price the room exceeded my expectations. It was in very good repair and very clean. The beds were comfortable. It compared very favourably with many business-class chains where I have stayed. I will rebook here if I need a room in the area again.
