Cons: Room was musty, remote didn't work, heating pipes/ventilation was noisy.
Location: Location was fine; about 10-15 min. from the base.
Motel was a throwback to the old days of motor hotels. Room was old fashioned, but relatively comfortable.

Pros: it's price
Cons: the wi-fi access and the breakfast room and information on the TV stations and surrounding restaurant options
they did not have the wi-fi access and the breakfast room they wrote they had in the posted description.

Upgraded 1950s style motel

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: It is quaint. Cost is reasonable. It competes price wise with Rodeway Inn but the feel and look is much better.
Cons: They are still working on things.
Location: Newport has a great number of attractions. Gilded Age mansions...summer cottages, tennis hall of fame, great night life and shopping. Sai
The owners are upgrading an old facility. The outside is nice decorated with flowers Rooms are comfortable and the hosts are very gracious and helpful. Since they do not have breakfast facilities, they provide $5 cards for Dunkin Donuts, across the street.

Should've slept in my car.

Don't map it with google, you may end up in a nicer hotel. 2nd, don't walk on the carpet with bare feet, you will need to wash your feet before jumping into bed -the bottoms looked like I was walking on beach all day long...I wish that was the case. 3rd, the smell of a smokers room - add the window unit air conditioner, and you may wake up feeling like you're asthmatic...

Good hotel, cheap prices

Posted Jul 29, 2014
A few friends and I recently stayed here while attending the Newport Folk Festial. The room was pretty clean, the staff was very kind and helpful. If you are looking for more than a place to sleep, this may not be the place for you. But with that being said, it was a perfect fit for us as a place to sleep and shower after the long festival days!

Good enough

We went for the Newport folk festival. Was fine for the money, considering other hotels in the area were exponentially more expensive. It was..fine. Clean. The room smelled a little funny, but you could tell it was cleaned well. Just outdated. Worth the money for somewhere to sleep.

Cute Inn very close to beach and marina of Newport

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Easily accessible, welcoming staff, checked in early without problem, quiet and beautiful grounds, dog friendly, near pub & DD & BOA ATM. Room clean/tidy but felt stuffy. We got the last room in town last minute and was not disappointed!

Pleasant surprise

The place looked run down upon arrival but the rooms were nice inside and very clean...granted I'm not too picky but for the price and location I thought it was great...I'll be going back for sure..
