close to the other places we had to be at!Posted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was nice, just some times the traffic was busy at night, close to a main road. People there were nice polite and helpful, if we ask for anything! The rates were good and up there with some of the other hotels,we stayed for a longer weekend (Thursday to Sunday) very please ! Starting there fall season so we got a little lower rate, Newport was wonderful!!

Very clean and decent for the moneyPosted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
They showed me the room first to make sure the room was sufficient. Offered to let me stay past check-out if I needed it as my plans ran a little long. It is on a busy road so there was some traffic noise but it was cheap and close to Newport so that was easy to deal with.

Quick weekend getawayPosted Oct 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Upon our arrival, the concierge was very polite, got us all set up and handed us a welcome bag with bottles of water, fresh fruit and granola bars. Our room was dry clean and smelled lovely. The bed was large and comfortable and the hot shower and clean towels were great. When we come back to Rhode Island we'll definitely stay here again.

good valuePosted Oct 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a fine place to stay for the price. The room was clean, and management was friendly. It's just a few minutes from downtown Newport, so the location was good.

Cons: Room was musty, remote didn't work, heating pipes/ventilation was noisy.
Location: Location was fine; about 10-15 min. from the base.
Motel was a throwback to the old days of motor hotels. Room was old fashioned, but relatively comfortable.

Couldn't have been better!Posted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband, mother, and sister stayed in two rooms for two nights at the Bay Willows, and boy, what a pleasant experience it was. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and blissfully away from traffic noise. At check-in, the owner greeted us with goodie bags filled with apples, bananas, fruit, granola bars, bottled water, and candy. The towels and washcloths were luxurious and the pillows fluffy. I loved the mom-and-pop feel of the place, which is conveniently located near Newport. Highly recommended.

Good value for the pricePosted Sep 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
You can pay $250-$500 per night for something fancy in Newport - or you can stay here. Location was good and the price was 1/4 - 1/3 of any place else. Older hotel, laughable decor, lots of "deferred maintenance" but clean
