“Lost Ring”

The staff was extremely accomodating! My daughter thought she had dropped her great grandmother's ring down the drain. When I called the front desk they offered to have the maintenance person come the next morning to take the sink apart to retrieve it. In the mean time, they offered a new room or access to the room next door which was empty (so the sink would not be used). Luckily we found the ring at a restaraunt down the street where we had eaten earlier in the day! Happy Ending!

“Absolutely Worth the Money!!!”

The cost was a little more than we thought we should spend, but it was totally worth it!!! The front desk found a room on the second floor to assure us that we wouldn't be disturbed by some larger parties at the hotel. The bed was a dream-never slept better! The little bistro in the lobby offered just the right amounts of breakfast foods and evening drinks to make it convenient and fun.. Their service was terrific and the breakfast was perfect!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. We can't wait to go back.

“A Great Hotel and a Great Location!”

Beautifully appointed hotel with a small kitchen to provide simple meals such as soups, salads, egg sandwiches, regular sandwiches, wine and beer. Rooms look like they are newly renovated with comfortable beds and a wonderful color scheme.The front desk was very friendly and very helpful. This hotel also has a great indoor pool. They are in a great location for getting to all the important historic and scenic areas.

“Great pool!!”

rainy cold night when we arrived-very quick to check us in-the room was great! As I was with my son the pool being only a few doors down was very handy. Beds were comfy! That doesn't happen often. Sliding glass door looked out onto beautifully landscaped area-would be very pleasant in good weather. The pool area was very clean-hot tub perfect temp!

“Clean and well appointed room; friendly and helpful staff”

The front desk clerk who checked us in was friendly and obviously concerned with guests' well being. The hotel is not right on the main road, so the atmosphere is quiet and serene. The room was simply furnished but well cleaned, with a spotless carpet. The bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't use the pool or exercise room but both looked clean and well maintained. I had a nice buffet breakfast in the attractive and comfortable restaurant. The desk clerk provided us with a list of local restaurants, complete with good driving directions. We had a nice dinner at Sardella's.

“Will definitely go back”

I was very happy with this hotel. It is nonsmoking which appealed to me. The pool and hot tub were great. The indoor pool extends to an outdoor pool in the warm weather. It is in a quiet area and yet is close to many restaurants. Newport is a stone's throw away.Parking is free. My wife and I really enjoyed our time here and will definitely go back for some rest and relaxation.

The front desk staff were helpful and courteous and we had a very nice sized and clean room at a reasonable rate. We only stayed one night during the off-season, so the hotel was mostly empty. Hence we are unable to evaluate what the hotel might be like in Summer or when nearby companies were staffing the rooms with corporate employees for seminars. While we would certainly stay there again and are glad their new renovation included a bar area, the ambiance in the bar area could be improved if it was not quite so well lighted.

Just for an overnight. The age of the tea bags was a little iffy, though. But other than that, we were happy. Loved the fact that check wasn't until Noon! Love to sleep late.
