We were looking for a hotel last minute and this was an inexpensive option. We checked in around midnight and checked out the next morning around 9. The hotel was clean and nice, but nothing fancy. It suited our needs.

This hotel was the only one available for one night in Providence and Newport over Memorial Day Weekend. It is clean and comfortable and a couple of miles from downtown Newport. Nothing fancy but completely fine for a place to sleep while visiting Newport.

Old hotel in need of renovation

Posted May 26, 2015
The hotel interior is old and smelly. There were lots of noises inside (AC, water plumbing, sqweeking floors) that kept us awake much of both nights we spent there. On top of that there were parties going on well past midnight with people shouting in the corridor for hours. Our package also included free shuttle service to downtown Newport, but it turned out it only included 2 tickets per room, so we ended up not using it. Overall this hotel is not worth the money and it's not family friendly at all.

Needs lots of updating

Carpet had a huge iron burn in it. All base boards were missing. No comforter on the bed so I had to ask for extra blankets. Room was clean but very old looking.

Nice hotel!

Very nice and comfortable hotel (the beds are awesome) close to downtown Newport! You will need an uber or cab to get to the wharf, but the location was great for our mini location!

Pros: The layout was simple and uncomplicated. Very basic accommodations with clean room. The hotel restaurant food was the best we have experienced.
Cons: Firmer mattress.
Location: Visiting the mansions was our primary goal and the hotel is perfectly located for this purpose.
Very comfortable accommodations. The restaurant served excellent food with lots of variety. The staff was friendly and always available. Maid service was good. The location of the hotel was perfect for our sightseeing plans.

Naps graduation

I suggest the hotel should offer breakfast vouchers for the restaurant on site or even continental for more than 1 night stays...not real accessible to the parking lots...but good stay. Thanks

One night stay

Pros: It was available, location, clean and we had stayed there before.
Cons: The hotel is a little dated, which is most notable in the hall ways, which have a moldy smell and appearance. The room prices were inflated.
Location: It is located in Newport, RI, which is self explanatory.
Booked hotel for one night to attend the Volvo regatta event in Newport, RI.
