“Comfortable with good view”

A little far from the downtown, but close to the beach. I used a kind-bed room, and it was big and comfortable with fine view of the sea.

“Pleasant Surprise”

After reading some of the reviews I was afraid I was going to walk in to some dumpy hotel. This Newport Beach Hotel and Suites was far from it!!! My niece and I had one of the smaller rooms in the old building they offer and it was just fine. It was clean, nicely decorated, had a nice big TV with Direct TV(a ton of channels), comfy full size beds, a window which you could actually open to let fresh air in, free wi-fi in the room, plus half size frig and small microwave. There wasn't a whole lot of room between the wall and where the beds ended, so if someone had a huge piece of luggage I am not sure where they would fit it. The bathroom was very small and had one of those stall type showers, which I am not crazy about, but it sufficed. The rest of the hotel was immaculate. The free continental breakfast in the morning was okay. It had cereal, toast bagels, assorted juices, Starbucks coffee and Tazo tea. The view was nice as well from the serving area/bar. I definitely would go back here!

“Just what WE needed!!!! Booking for next year asap!!!”

Newport Beach Hotel & Suites, Thank You!!! This hotel provided just what my fiancee and I needed...Nice comfortable and relaxing room with beach view, and everything we needed was pretty much walking distance. We had Bar and Grills right at our fingertips, Seafood eateries in every direction which was a blessing. We got up early one morning and went out on the beach before anyone else was out and had the most beautiful moment just sitting on the rocks talking, singing, laughing while the sun rose over the ocean. We were there for the Jazz Festival, but I would have rather stay at the hotel and hung out on the roof top in the Jacuzzi until I actually went up there...wasn't impressed in the least, it was a very tight space and there was clothes everywhere on the floors, on the chairs, water splashed all over...not romantic at all!! overall our stay was great and we can not wait to return!!

“Want to visit again”

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I have recommended this hotel to friends. The sorrounding are was great. There were nice restaurants and stores. Shops were not far away. The beach was great. I went before the season so it wasn't crowded. I would love to go there again next year.

“Great Newport Experience”

It is a great hotel, very well located (near the best Newport atractions like Easton Beach, the mansions and Cliff Walk), the hotel has free parking, free wi fi in your room, pool with jacuzzi. The only bad part of my stay in the hotel was that our room wasn´t made during our 3-day stay (they told us that it was due to a mistake). But apart from that the hotel is great and the staff very friendly! I recommend this hotel.

“Loved our spacious room”

We loved the hotel. Right across from the beach, about a 20 minute walk to the harbor, and restaurants next door and across the street. Our hotel room was neat, clean and very roomy. We had a nice bathroom with granite counters, a living room with a couch, 2 chairs, a flat screen tv, and a frige. A lot of room for just hanging around. Our bedroom was big with 2 queen beds and a flat screen tv. There were 2 closets which was plenty of room to store away things. There were plenty of windows for outdoor viewing which also made it very bright and cheery. The continental breakfast was great and the accessibility to the computers was easy, too. Our family would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone. The only downfall was that during construction of the new building, we had to park across the street.

“9 Days at Newport Inn over Easter Break 2006-Great time!”

Expedia recommended this hotel when I was trying to book my trip to Newport in January. I really had no idea where to stay in Newport. I had visited several years before without children and I wanted a location that would be kid friendly which may not be a phrase that is synonymous with Newport (mansions, luxurious B&Bs, etc.). I chose this hotel because of the free breakfast, beach location and in-room DVD player. After staying for 9 days, I feel qualified to say that this really is an excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. Our room was large and the age and design of the building really is charming and homelike. There is coffee and tea available most of the day similar to that of most B&Bs. The maid service is efficient and you always seem to have extra towels. There are many wonderful restaurants right next door and Cliff Walk is a nice walk up the hill from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you have small children!

“This hotel has style, it is a historic landmark”

It is right on the main beach road,in the best spot facing the beach, right down the road from town. It is well furnished, and not with your everyday generic furnishings! The staff is very nice, parking is convenient. A nice experience.
