“Excellent location and friendly staff”

Wife and I went for our anniversary. Had a wonderful stay. Very good location as it is a quick walk or drive into the wharf area - making it easy to go out for dinner and/or drinks. Visitor Center right across the street, which provides information and tickets for various Newport activities, including mansion tours and cliff walk. Ordered room service once and pre-arranged a delivery for our anniversary. Service was excellent and timely. Only complaint was that the fire alarm was triggered at 1:30 in the morning and then again the next evening. Not sure if there really were fires or just people trying to be funny. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, great atmosphere all in the heart of a wonderful waterfront town to explore. No complaints at all regarding the hotel.

The hotel room was great with a king size bed, refrig was awesome and we needed it for alcohol and restaurant leftovers. The rooms very very clean except for edges on bathroom counter and such but then I know I'm picky so what a 4 is for me is probably a 5 for everyone else, so you decide. Staff very helpful, if you want maid service early in day, make sure you ASK for it. I didn't realize there was a paper you could leave on the door for it. I wanted to lie down in the room for a headache at 2:30pm and the room still wasn't made up yet, they have from 9am to 5pm to do it. Unless you specify. Great shower! Hot and strong. Love it!!

“Great, affordable Newport Hotel”

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It has parking, is conveniently located, has a nice pool and exercise room and very friendly staff. We had a room in the middle section which we didn't like...no window and it just felt hot and stuffy, but other than that we really enjoy this Marriott and will stay there again.

From the minute you stepped foot on the property the staff was very courteous and helpful. We loved the design and comfort or our room an all the public spaces. The hotel is convenient to all atrractions and there is much to do in Newport. We celebrated a friend's birhtday and we had a great time! We can't wait to go back!

Hotel is very nice. Right on the water with a beautiful view. Food was great. Thanksgiving buffet excellent. Room was a little noisy from either the heating system or vents. Little bit of mildew in the bathroom. Still I can't wait to go back every year!

We stayed for 2 days and were very satisfied with the hotel and staff. Everyone was very friendly and accommadating. We arrived very late due to weather conditions and luckily received a harborview room. It was an absolutley beautiful view. We would definitely go back.

We had room service for the 1st time ever - and were pleasantly surprised at the delicious breakfast ! I slept longer than i have for years - comfy cozy.
