“Bang for the Buck”

great rate thru Expedia booking, 2-queen-bed-room a little tight, breakfast time could be extended to10am, time to replace those yellow towels.

“Great hotel for a family. 10 minutes from Newport News Airport.”

Very nice, newer hotel. The staff was very nice and greeted us every time we entered/left the building. The hotel was at capacity during our stay so we had to wait for a table to eat our contintental breakfast. It was a very small area but the staff kept up with the demand. The room were very nice but we could almost hear our neighbors breathing because the walls were so thin. We knew what tv show they were watching. This was only one of two issues. The other was a very noisy ventilation system in the pool area that made us have to speek louder than usual. The neighborhood is older but we felt very safe. The hotel is located about 1 1/2 miles from 64 and about 8 miles from the airport. We would stay at this hotel/loaction again.

“Employees were very friendly and helpful”

Our stay was clean, comfortable and friendly. Staff was helpful whenever we needed anything or had questions about things to do in the area. Would definitely go back.

“Not close to airport”

Saw somewhere that distance was 2 miles from airport it's more like 7 and the cab ride was twenty bucks each way making it an expensive stay dont count on the availability of a driver for their shuttle

“Quiet and Clean”

Upon arrival, the hotel employee was very friendly and professional. He had no problem letting us check in early. The building is small and "quaint" with cozy modern furnishings. The hot breakfast is good and filling for a complimentary service. The actual neighborhood is old and a little run down, but the location is close to everything -Wal-mart, mall and great restaurants less than 5 miles. Enjoyable stay.

“Great place to stay in Newport News, Virginia!”

We loved the "all-day coffee" bar in the lobby and the free breakfast each morning. The staff was polite, friendly and called us immediately after check-in to make sure our room had everything we needed. The price was good, it was convenient to the airport and the interstate highways. Would definitely go back again!

Area recommendations

I would recommend checking out Williamsburg and Jamestown! Only 15 miles away and a great place to take the kids for lots of hands-on history lessons! A short trip to Hampton and lots of museums there too.

“GREAT PRICE ON THE EDGE OF TOWN”

Looking for a hotel near Christopher Newport University. Many of the other hotels were already booked. This had a good set of reviews and a decent location. The room was large, which was nice. The furniture was in good condition but not comfortable. The staff was friendly. There was some concern regarding the other patrons because most seemed to be local construction workers, but we had no issues.

“Clean room along with very kind personnel”

I'm very satisfied with the hotel. The room was very well cleaned up with nice smell inside. The hotel staffs were very kind and I can't forget the smile of them in the morning at the restauran. While the restaurant was a bit small, which coundn't hurt my positive feeling to the hotel... Strongly recommend this hotel...
