Conveniently locatedPosted Oct 5, 2013
We selected this hotel knowing how perfectly situated it is to everything! We used to live in Poquoson and still have ties all over Hampton Roads.

Hampton Inn Newport News-YorktownPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Price, closeness to Busch Gardens and Williamsburg, without the high price of the tourist areas.
Cons: One morning no meat was served on the breakfast bar.
This hotel was excellent. Our stay was characterized by a clean, quiet stay. One morning though, there was only eggs and potatoes on the breakfast bar, however the availability of other foods was substantial.

We loved this hotel! Perfect for a family with kids. Variety of restaurants all around, close proximity to historical sites and local beach. Free breakfast and high quality mattresses.

Convenient location to airport, Busch GardensPosted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The only bad thing I have to say is that our room was located close to the elevators and vending/ice machines. We were woken early in the morning by people talking loudly and using the elevators and vending machines. We could hear every conversation. We also heard an arguement by some people, which was not a pleasant experience. The sound proofing needs a lot of work. I felt as though guests were standing right outside my door. I asked to be moved to another room, but the hotel was full.

Very nicePosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff are very friendly. Housekeeping did not clean my room one day, and I was out of the room the entire day. That was disappointing. Overall the hotel was quite good, and I would return if the opportunity arose again.

Nice hotel close to everything.Posted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: The room was great. The beds were sooo soft. The staff was great. The pool was the warmest pool I've ever swam in. It was just a really nice stay.
Cons: There was a little too much chlorine in the pool. My Kentucky Blue swim suit came out of the pool looking like a North Carolina Blue swimsuit. Yikes!
Location: It was right off of I-64 near Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach. Not to mention many good resturants.
This was a spur of the moment, 4th of July trip. We booked this hotel with only two more rooms available. There were 3 of us total. Two adults and 1 child. All that was left was a king room and we got a roll away bed. My son said his bed was extremely comfortable and I know ours was. We were very pleased with everything this hotel offered and the closeness to everything this part of Virginia had to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

I thought the hotel was great. I was a little nervous, it said it was a 2 1/2 star. I thought it was really nice and well maintained. The staff was great. If we ever were back in the area I would definetly stay there again.

Great staff! Great service! Great location!Posted Jun 14, 2013
Pros: The staff and location of this hotel was nothing short of spectacular!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Location: The location of this hotel was great! There is a grocery store about a hundred yards away from the back entrance/exit to the hotel lobby/elevator.
Our entire stay at this specific Hampton Inn was nothing short of spectacular. The entire staff should be commended for a job well done (check-in, housekeeping, "breakfast lady"). The location of this hotel was great! There is a Farm Fresh grocery store about a hundred yards away from the back entrance/exit to the hotel lobby and elevator. Please ensure that the management staff is fully aware that their employees went "beyond the call" to make our stay enjoyable. The employees must be commended and aware of their accomplishments!
