“Good over-nighter”

Needed a convenient place to crash after hitting the bars across the street. This worked out great!

The shopping center at Colesium. Nice and new.

Nightlife

The Power Plant Live has gone down hill since it opened about 5 years ago. Clearly not as big a deal as it used to be.

“parent weekend”

The Hotel was very nice and clean. The bigs down downside is the 8.95 for your morning meal. No one said anything until you have your food in your hand . They are no sign about the cost for breakfast. also do not get room 222 it has not view.

“Very poor impression”

Staff continually acted as though they were doing us a favor. We went to breakfast (advertised till 10:00) at 9:45. The staff made sure we "overheard" how inconvenient that was for them. The bed was never made up on the second day and we had to beg for clean towels and washcloths. My husband was asked if he "wanted anything"... Guess that meant even the most basic necessities... We are "Marriott" people, but decided to give Hilton a try so we could stay in the same hotel with some of our family. We won't be staying at Hilton again.

“Very nice, clean rooms!! Will definitely go again!!”

The hotel was very clean, the staff were all very nice, the surrounding area/neighborhood is also very nice, well lit and lots to do in the area. The bed was very comfortable too!

Hampton, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Yorktown, etc. - all very nice areas to visit with lots of fun stuff to do!!

“We'll be back!”

Everyone was very friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Hotel was very clean.

We went to Virginia Beach. It was very, very crowded. Do not go if you prefer a quieter beach experience.

“Room just "airbrushed"..not cleaned”

Mirrow never cleaned...stains...Trash in the closet floor(dry cleaning tag, scraps of paper..etc.)never cleaned. Asked for tissue paper...3 days...none. Food on floor....again..."air brushed"....not cleaned.

“Would go back again in a heart beat!”

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Usually have a hard time sleeping in hotel beds, but this was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on!

“Good location for Coliseum”

Stayed here to see a concert at Hampton Coliseum. Overall was pleased with the hotel. The other hotels very close to the coliseum appear sketchy, this one was a little farther away (you could walk, but its about a mile, so we drove) and its much nicer. Would have no reservations about recommending it to families. Clean, comfortable, just fine. Not a 5-star luxury brand, mind you, but a fine place to sleep for the night. When I travel, cleanliness and safety are my two main concerns, and this hotel was fine on both accounts.

“Homecoming 2010”

After a very exhausting day of travel delays it was after 1am by the time I arrived to the hotel to check in. The young lady working the front desk that night was so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and exactly as it should be.The staff was extremely accommodating with a delayed check out to work around my return flight. The only problem was a mixup with the cleaning service on one of the days, but it was minor and they immediately sent clean towels to the room until someone could do a full cleaning the next day. This will always be my hotel of choice when in the Hampton roads area. Thank you for a pleasant stay
