Needs renovationsPosted Oct 11, 2014 on Hotels
While the hotel was ideally located, it is VERY old and needs renovations. The floors squeak when you walk and the toilet makes an awful noise when you flush it. The continental breakfast is less to be desired and when we checked in there was rotten oranges still sitting in the fruit basket. I was not givens receipt when I checked out but was told to check with Expedia for one. I don't think I would stay there again unless improvements are made.

Decent accomadationsPosted Sep 11, 2014 on Hotels
Booked a weekend stay. Arrived a 10:30 am and was able to check in right away. The room was a nice size; I was able to move about comfortably. The bed (king) was comfortable. The A/C worked well (a little too well). Nice size tv with ample stations. The room came with an iron which I found a little small, but actually worked quite well. Had to play with the door handle to get to work properly and the internet service was spotty. The sitting chair was a little dingy. Also wish they had better soap. Overall a pleasant stay.

Always a good stayPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels
Very nice, clean, quiet facility. Only issue is the with the showers. Improper floor grading near the shower drain leads to standing water in the shower.

Fine for what we neededPosted Aug 8, 2014 on Hotels
We just needed a quick place to stay on the way to the beach. The hotel was definitely dated with dingy decor but the room was comfortable and front desk friendly. We needed to leave very early in the am and breakfast was supposed to be at 6am but they were still setting up at 6:30 and not moving fast at all.

Was skeptical at booking... But cannot complain!Posted Aug 7, 2014 on Hotels
Much love goes to the desk staff. I asked about a rollaway bed after our first night. Not only did she bring it to my room with sheets, linen, and blankets, but she also figured we would be needing an extra towel and wash cloth. Then she called a couple of times to make sure everything was okay with the bed. Breakfast was what you'd expect, but honestly H.I. breakfast is only a half-step better. I'll definitely keep this hotel on the list for the next time in the 757.

One night enoughPosted Aug 2, 2014 on Hotels
At check in the front desk person was friendly, the next morning the same person was moody like she had a bad night. The bathroom was dirty with built up scum in the corners and possible mold in the tile seams of the shower. The breakfast was the worst I have seen. The orange juice was mostly water, almost clear and not drinkable, No meat, no waffles. The only hot item was biscuits and gravy. The only pastries were very tiny mini muffins. We will not be back to this one as there are many other places to stay.
