It was fine for a quick stay. Had to ask to have the maid refresh the room. But it was quiet, clean, water was hot, bed was fine. For a cheap stay I got what I paid for—no complaints

The housekeeper and maintenance guy were great. they were nice and helpful. The owners not so much they had a constant attitude and did not even attempt to address my concerns (would call them complaints but i was chill even willing to handle them myself) Still got attitude from the lady and the man

The property is always real quiet when we stay out there we don't hear a bunch of traffic or loud noises only problem was the ice machine was not working otherwise than that there was no problems

Ownership could do better
Third time I have stayed here for business. Good location, seems safe. Owners seem to want to keep it a low end motel. Stayed in room 108 twice in my three stays there. Nice room, clean, everything was fine. Wouldn't recommend for a family stay. People in next room loud, slamming doors, banging on wall.

Very good for a short stay or overnight! Although the furniture was old it was kept clean and neat! They had new carpet and curtains in the room. No TV or internet problems. Near everything and convenient to get there!. Property was clean! Parking lot was just repainted . Only thing missing was a coffee pot!

Okay...but bring your own sheets!
The hotel seemed like the best choice compared to other hotels in the area. It was in a safe location and it was clean, but the sheets had significant stains on them. You would think they would have been thrown away looking this dirty.

The best sheets was nasty has cigarettes hold in it bloodstain Master pad was burned through like buz things was on them...they guy was working last night was rude because we ask for clean sheets and he didn't wanna give us clean sheets it was a horrible stay..I will not come back at this hotel..was very disturbing of this due to the fact I know the owner of this place and believe this is going on for a 69.99 you think you're stay will be pleasant stay..

This property has no respect for the people who pay for a room, management do not know what they are doing, they claim to never be there when someone contacts them for a refund. Housekeeping does a horrible job they lie and say that you take things to make up reasons for you not to come back, they're water has been contaminated and turns brown they never twll you until you are about to check out. If you care about a place that actually cares and gives you clean items and not dodge you all the time them this is the worst place to go in newport news. They say they allow service animals but they dont really want them there that catch attitudes and more when you bring your service animal, I would never visit this place ever again.

Clean and Better Than You Might Think
Typical hotel room, but it had a decent sized refrigerator and a small microwave. The room had a leather reclining chair in it which is a nice touch. Overall the room was very clean, and it appeared that in recent days the shower stall had been updated to have a new or updated surround, the fixtures are either incredibly new or incredibly clean. The sink area matched the new shower surround and also appeared relatively new. I felt comfortable enough to walk around in bare feet. Towels could be a bit better quality and are thin, but they got the job done. The cleaning staff was very present and eager to assist or help. About the only odd thing is the way that you interact with the hotel itself for questions / reservation changes. You stand outside and ring a bell and then someone will generally come to the window. However, it feels like they are keeping you at arms length for some reason. The parking lot is well lit, and you feel safe here. I had quite a bit of computer equipment in my van, and really did not worry about its safety. Other than the odd check in check out window the place is fine for a few nights as I was mostly working at a neaby office.

The hotel is outdated. Wifi was a little bit weak. The beds were very comfortable. Just stayed one night and was good. I disliked the noise from the outside.

Quiet and clean
My wife and I stayed here for one night while visiting friends and we had no complaints at all. It is an older hotel but very clean, comfy bed, nice chairs and even a love seat. We would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Ok, for a work stay.
It was fine for what I needed on a work trip. Quiet and good parking. Seemed safe. Mattress was hard, but that was ok. Room a little dated, but seemed clean. Staff was there, but not really at all interested in friendly service.
