“Great place to stay”

Very comfortable room, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious.

We were pleasantly surprised at the roominess of the suite. The layout was very convenient and breakfast was adequate. Would stay here again.

Who was first??? the EGG or the CHICKEN?? This Hotel is located directly in Back of a Hilton??? Why soooo close.. Surely the prime spot is out front.. As for Hotel staff... They did because they had to.. Not alI...I even went out of my way to try and get the Clerk to smile.. When that whatn' happn'.. I asked her "if you visited Hampton for a day what restaurant would you have to eat at before you leave"? At least the Bar-B-Q joint she recommended saved her.. When I checked out the next day, do you think she asked... "How was the restaurant????...... GO Figure.. Nah... I ain't going back.... I need more characters to talk about the "POOL" Let me give you a hint ... When I asked, that same Clerk, I talked about above, Why is there a "strong" CHLORINE odor in the pool area.. my children were complaining there eyes burned...They were not in the pool yet.. SHHH That's what I'm trying to tell you........... And the Hot Tub????? had ..????..... What look like, something out of the movie "The Blob" in it ...do you remember that movie..... early 50's? NO wait... maybe it was something from that movie "The Creature from the Black Lagoon"...

“Basic accomodations”

Hotel in in close proximity to stores and restaurants. Breakfast had a variety for everyone, much more than continental. For those of you who enjoy a bar and entertainment, you won't find it here. Hotel does not have much more to offer than a place to sleep, but it was nice never the less. Pull out sofa bed was twin sized. The first night there we thought all TV chanels were on a pay-per-view system but we found out the following day that this was not the case. Hotel is situated very close to the Hampton University campus which was very good for our family as we were visiting a student. Check-in and check-out was effortlessly accomplished. We would stay again.

My husband & I frequently have reason to travel to small to midsize US cities; SpringHill Suites is our choice for modern, clean, spacious, comfortable & affordably priced accommodations. We have only 2 citicisms: 1) the feather bed pillows are so SOFT that they do not provide adequate head/neck support, even when 3 or more are stacked on top of one another; 2) the room doors are so close to one another that hallway noise can easily be overheard if guests are seated in the lounge end of their rooms. Other than these concerns, we are extremely please with the quality of this chain.

“Paper walls...”

Nice hotel but very noisy. We could hear everything in the other rooms. Too bad they didn't think of soundproofing the rooms! If you need sleep and don't want to be disturbed by overcrowding kids, find another hotel.
