Nice hotel 20-25 minutes from Boston

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Number one was the friendly staff and then how clean the hotel was!
Cons: If I had to suggest one improvement it would be having more elevators and maybe giving every person free wi-fi access.
Location: Location was great! Close to other cities and towns. Close to Boston too.
The hotel was clean and up to date. Hotel staff were friendly and plenty of parking. It is close to route 128, route 9 and Mass Pike which all provide access to different cities and towns close to Newton. I was in town to cheer on friends who were running the Boston Marathon and definitely would recommend this hotel to others!

Great Place to Stay

Posted Apr 22, 2015
At first we were concerned that we were out pretty far from Marathon course and as it worked out we able to take the shuttle to the Green Line, go one station and we were right around mile 16. Once the lead runners came by we jumped on the subway and made it in time to see the end of the race or at least the a place on the last straightaway. The employees were all very helpful and pleasant. Our room looked out over the Charles River - nice view. We also had breakfast every morning and I would highly recommend eating at the hotel. If we go back next year for the Marathon, we plan to stay at the Marriott Newton!

Had a great experience here!

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Location near the green line and shuttle, friendly staff, well maintained,
Cons: Make wifi available free of charge to paying guests. Run the shuttle later on Friday and Saturday nights - 'til 10P
Location: We walked to NY Pie. It was a pleasant walk and the food was good.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights for the Boston Marathon. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The staff were very professional and friendly (front desk, Concierge, Coffee stand, shuttle driver, housekeeper, etc.). The hotel is conveniently located near the Riverside Green Line train which made it very easy to get into town and back. The hotel shuttle can get you there quickly when it is running. When the shuttle was not running, we could catch a cab back to the hotel for about $6. Our room was comfortable and met our needs. The bar meal menu was better than the restaurant menu with respect to price and quality of the food. Be advised that there are no other immediate dining options surrounding the hotel. The lakeside views were very nice.

BOSTON AREA EASY ACCESS

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: EVERYTHING
Cons: NOT MUCH
Location: DOWNTOWN SHOPPING, LOTS OF STORES AND RESTAURANTS.
VERY ACCOMODATING STAFF RIGHT FROM THE START. OUR PHONE CHARGER DIDN'T WORK SO THEY CHARGED THE PHONE AT THE DESK. SHUTTLE TO THE TRAIN WAS DONE AS SOON AS WE GOT TO THE LOBBY. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. I JOINED REWARDSAND THEY GAVE US WI-FI SO MY DAUGHTER COULD DO HER WORK FOR COLLEGE. PARKING WAS NO PROBLEM.

Warm pool and great breakfast

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Nice hotel and room. Pretty standard. The pool was 87 degrees. Great breakfast buffet. Paid the extra $10 for our room to get the breakfast otherwise it was $18 per person. A lot to choose from plus made to order egg station. Parking stated on website $9 but when we got our bill, we were charged $11. Went to the front desk and they stated that the rate had changed to $11 ( which was funny because I had called the day before and the front desk stated that parking was $9). I showed them my confirmation with the rate and they adjusted it. Overall, very friendly helpful staff nice room and right off the highway. Took us 25 minutes to get to TD Garden.
