There were a few issues with the booking, the hotel itself was not in great condition, breakfast was limited, staff were not friendly.

Good hotel.
Quite a old hotel but everything in the room was fine. Booked a seaview room, was spacious and clean. Breakfast was average. Located at a good area along the beach.

large hotel great view.....
Although our room was very comfortable and a nice view to beach. Balcony not large enough to sit on and very noisy being on the main road. Cafe facilities down stairs were disappointing with not many options and not too clean. Staff at front desk were lovely but one of the two staff members that brought bags to your room was pushy and would not leave your room until offering a tip. Got offended when tip was too small for him.

I ordered a ocean view with balcony and room for 3 adults superior deluxe and they told me the room I ordered was deluxe I told them no I ordered bigger room they try no I ordered deluxe so I showed them the comfortmation with the room info so they said give them a minute. Then they said we are going to up grade me but still put me is a deluxe room with 3 adults my bathroom is bigger at my home we were cramp.the rooms need of repairs paint is peeling the hot water runs out before you finish bathing the phone plug falls out the phone and the balcony was very small.every morning you have to go to the receptionist to get you tickets for breakfast the breakfast was good that was the only thing I really liked I have stayed in alot nicer hotel on the other side of town for half the price

Stayed for 2 nights and chose this hotel because of its location. The building is very dated and very little maintenance from what I can see. Their towels have holes in them, sink with stains, and cockroach on every counter. The only two thing that keeps the hotel in business is really their location and gorgeous view. By the way, dance music can be heard until midnight from the bars along the street. Would not recommend to couples or families.

Very average stay
Overpriced. Half of the facilities were no existant ie. Spa, Suana and health club. If you get a deluxe suite with tub the tub can only be filled with about 3 inches of water before the hot runs out. Also got food poisoning from the restaurant and I can garuantee it was from there as it was the only place I ate. Would never stay there again.

Nice hotel next to the beach
I had a very nice stay here, definitely exceeded my expectations considering the price. The hotel is located across the road from the beach and a lot of restaurants/shops are nearby. Decent pool which gets the sun all afternoon and was never busy. Hotel arranged car to the airport for me for about $14 which I thought was reasonable considering the distance. If you want groceries/general items then turn left out of the hotel and walk (about 5mins) until you get to the Nha Trang centre where there is a small supermarket with a lot more choice as well as being cheaper than the small shops. Overall good value for money

Good Location
We stayed 3 nights during Tet. We were on the 12th floor with a beautiful ocean view but the noise from the street below was a little distracting. The staff were great and the overall facility was nice. The breakfast was above average but the staff sometimes cleared plates and glasses without asking if you were done. The location was good for sightseeing because there were taxis and other means of transportation available to take you to the various attractions..

Not worth it, go elsewhere to avoid disappointment
Terrible. Hotel and its facilities are from the soviet's era. Old and dirty. Night club is right at the basement and music is blasting till 3am. For the price we paid (80aud), there are plenty other good hotels around. AVOID at all cost!!!

Enjoy Beach Side Luxury without Luxe Prices !
Arriving late one evening we were greeted by beautiful friendly smiles and an up grade to Deluxe Rooms overlooking Beaches, Mountains and city Night lights ! Enjoyed a late evening seafood dinner from Room Service with no fuss about the lateness of the Hour . Any minor issues with rooms were dealt with speedily next morning . Staff continued to check if we were happy with our rooms , Service etc. The buffet breakfast ( Included ) offered ample choices for us - and as we were late risers any foods that had already run out were usually replenished when we asked . The décor echoes the style of the late 90's - when it was built - but it seems to be very well maintained despite being opposite the beach and all the problems that creates ! As I am living in Vietnam , I will happily return to Nha Trang Lodge Hotel and my Australian friend will praise it to all her friends visiting Vietnam .

Great experience, wonderful room and well located
We decided to book a suite so we had plenty of space, and it was outstanding - fantastic view through fabulous floor to ceiling windows, great sized room and friendly staff. We absolutely loved our stay there and will definitely do so again. Some reviews say it is getting a bit tired and I guess I know what they mean, and if 5 star flashiness is important to you, go somewhere else. But the room we had was perfect and the location outstanding right across from the beach and very central to everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfasts were good. Do be aware that the hotel is not double glazed so if there is noise outside you will hear some of it. And the hotel has a night club and a bit of the bass sound reached the room - but not enough to keep us awake.

Cheap and reasonably cheerful
Dated hotel in need of a refurb. But for £30/night. (Late booking via Expedia) was ok. Great breskfast buffet though. Awesome spread. Opposite the beach so good location. Needs double glazing, even from the 7th floor the traffic noise (horns) is very loud. Lots of Russians too!

Good service from Hotel staff. But their massage centre downstairs was dodgy & offered terrible service. The manager didn't speak much English & she was eating when we came in & still was when we came out. We bought a package which included Spa, Sauna, Massage & a light meal with water & tea. None of the food or beverages were offered. We were left in the cold air-conditioned room for about 7mins while the girls went to get some warm stones. Sauna wasn't turned on, spa wasn't heated. We ended up leaving half way through the package. Full price was still charged even though we spoke to the Hotel Manager. Very dissappointed..

Fantastic views of beach
A good clean hotel across the road from beach and a very short walk to loads of restaurants and shops/markets. Can walk to cathedral and Buddha temple. Short taxi ride to via pearl island/theme park. Good for a day with 10yr olds and teenagers etc. Breakfast supplied and was great with good service. Rooms a little tired but clean. We had and executive deluxe room which was on the very front with fantastic views worth the few extra dollars. Lots of Russians stay here in NahTrang as it is a holiday destination for them.

A Paradox but overall quite good.
Great location on the beach, too bad for lower floor guestrooms above the RAGING basement club. Good breakfast buffet with many options and good quality but very crowded at all times. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Inconsistent wifi but your on the beach and there's plenty of nightlife so you shouldn't be in the hotel much anyways. For what its worth, mainly Russians staying here.

The hotel is close to the beach.
The hotel room was not very clean. There were lots of ants everywhere and we complain to the front desk which they sent a cleaner to check it out which did nothing to solve the problem so my wife and I were killing ants each morning and night. We also saw ants all over the hotel. The bath tub was huge and nice but there was not enough hot water to fill it up. The bed was hard as a rock so sleeping in it cause back pain.

Russian beach hotel
Hotel dated, full of Russians - as is all of Nha Trang- lots of cigarette smoke everywhere. Hotel dated, rooms barely ok but location good, apart from attracting previously mentioned tourists who dominate totally Nha Trang Avoid this city and visit somewhere else.

Good location, with fantastic view over the bay. Breakfast included both western and asian alternatives. Pool area in the shadow until 12 o'clock. Our room (standard) smelled a little funky and could need some brush-up and a new AC, but otherwise OK.
