Location: good restaurant across the road on mary street called the little red rooster
good location away from the busy downtown area hotel needs updates such as carpet in rooms and hallways not recommended for older folks who have to go to second floor with no elevator breakfast bar is excellent very pleasant hostess and well stocked restaurant is terrible just a dirty bar would suggest a nice restaurant would do well there

Cons: everything--especially front desk staff who were curt and bordering on rude not even trying to accomodate a problem
Location: location is ok. Niagara on the Lake was a short drive
Called ahead to have room ready 1 hour earlier than check in because we were attending a wedding and needed to get ready after a long drive. Room not ready and denial of call. Told not one room ready at 2:30pm. with check ins expected at 3 pm. Suggested we change and prepare for the wedding in the dining room bathroom. No pool or even an outdoor area to sit (except a balcony) . A very disappointing Best Western.

Pros: Beautiful scenery, quiet place and a yummy breakfast.
Cons: some of bed sheets
Location: a beautiful horse farm. a calm fond.
The hotel have 4 rooms. Host was nice and he loves travel. When we stay we had feel like family.

Comfortable hotel, great location.

Pros: The comfortable bed, clean room, friendly attentive staff, great continental breakfast.
Cons: Slamming door at the end of our hall needed repair. Heat lamp in bathroom didn't work.
Location: Close to town, bike trails, wineries, restaurants, bars. All within walking/biking distance.
A comfortable hotel in a great location. Close to everything yet far enough away to enjoy a good night's sleep. Staff are friendly, attentive, and proactive. Bed excellent, room very clean. Covered lock-up for bikes and a bike shop nearby too. Substantial continental breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room.

Pet Friendly BIG ISSUE

Unfortunately on the Expedia site it is shown as pet friendly, upon check in, only ONE room is designated as pet friendly. The only pet friendly room was already booked!!!!!! I was fortunate to argue vehemently with the Manager that we needed a room and they reluctantly they finally gave us a room and our pet was allowed to stay. It was an unpleasant experience at the check-in, please update your site and I would remove the pet friendly status. Especially because in your comment section there is no reference to specifically requesting a pet friendly room. I would appreciate a response, Thank you, Joe Ricard

Dear Mr. Ricard, I would like to apologize for us starting off on the wrong foot. We aim for guests to have an enjoyable experience when they stay at our hotel and I understand your frustration. Although I did find where the website mentions specifically contacting the hotel regarding bringing a pet it could easily be missed when booking a room.

Pros: The breakfast was better than we expected since it was advertised as a continental. There was a very good and plentiful choice of foods.
Cons: For the price I don't expect anything needs to improve.
Location: The location is great. We love visiting Niagara on the Lake, no matter what time of year. .
We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the room. The bathroom was a little on the small side but it was clean and adequate. The room wasn't huge but everything we would need was there.

Get away

The bed and pillows were very soft. When we booked the room the picture online showed that the jazzui tub was in view of the fireplace....it was not. The staff was very friendly and we were able to check in a few hours early with no problems. We were told the free breakfast was amazing, it was just ok.

If guests prefer a more firm mattress and/or pillow we do have that option available. Although we do receive a lot of compliments on our breakfast I understand that some guests may prefer to have a selection of hot items as well which we are not equipped to provide. To clarify one point, none of our pictures online show a Jacuzzi or jetted tub in view of a fireplace as none of our rooms are like that and we would not mislead anyone. Thank you again and I do hope that you give us enough chance to have you as our guest.
