This hotel withdraw unexpected money in my account without saying. So, what is problem? I don't know. I'm very upset this hotel. If this hotel tell me about problem, I give good rate. But It's not.

The Frozen Falls

Pros: Location Friendly staff
Cons: Very strict on the breakfast hours.
We went on a quick family trip to the Falls. We had a great time. The hotel was centrally located and just a short walk to the falls. The view was nice. The room and the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Best view in town

Pros: The rooms were large clean comfortable, and its all about the view from the window. No other hotel could beat it .
Cons: They are upgrading certain rooms - so that comes with certain inconveniences
Location: short walk to the falls down the hill
The hotel is undergoing renovation, but they were very accommodating, found us a room far away from the work. The room had the best possible view on both falls.

Beautiful hotel

Pros: The bathtub(hot tub) in the room. Excellent pools for kids to keep busy. Great restaurant TGIF attatched for meals for us and kids.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great walking distance for kids to walk and see Canadian falls.
Had great service. Beautiful rooms. Lots of room for myself, wife,and 4 children 2 age 5 and 2 age 6. Beautiful view!!!

Security Issue

Pros: Beautiful view of the falls from our room, clean and friendly staff.
Cons: Customer service was terrible. Felt that they did not take our situation seriously enough. We could have lost all of our possessions.
Location: Always lots to do in the falls no matter where you stay.
An hour after checking in to our suite my wife heard the door open and close. When she opened the door there was a family standing there that had been assigned to the same suite. This could have been a very embarrassing situation for all involved. Fortunately I had not stepped out of the shower yet. We were getting ready to head down to the pool and would have left all of our possessions in the room and could have had everything stolen. Needless to say we were not impressed and called down to the customer relations desk. They were very apologetic and offered us a compensation of a bottle of wine. we told them that we do not drink wine so they offered us free chocolate covered strawberries and whipped cream. We asked that they also compensate us with late check out, a $25 value which they agree to. Again we had to ask for this they did not offer it!!! We checked the menu for the strawberries and they were valued at $60. We thought that that was fair. To our disappointment we received 6 strawberries, that's $10/strawberry. We then went to the pool and when we returned to our room we could not get in. Our keys would not work. So here we are standing in the hallway in our bathing suits waiting for security to come open our room. Called down to complain and they offered us 2 free Starbucks coffees. Overall we were quite pleased with the hotel, the room and the staff but were not impressed with the customer relations.

Check in was a really long wait, almost 40 minutes. The room once I finally got checked in and up there was pretty nice. The room was clean for the most part though there were some hairs in the sink and writing on one of the paper pads. The view was incredible.

Overall experience was pretty good. Front Desk staff need some work on the customer service side. Very robotic and not welcoming at all. All housekeeping staff I came into contact with were fantastic (could teach front desk staff a few things). Very welcoming. Eye contact, great smiles. Offered help or assistance at every turn. Having an elevator attendant for the breakfast was a great touch. Breakfast staff were very welcoming. Cocktail hour a really nice touch. Our room said Fallsview (which I paid more for). You had to lean to the one side of our window to grab a glimpse, so I would rethink calling that a Fallsview room. Coupons added to welcome package was a nice touch. Doorman was always friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful 3 days ! Elevators are a nighare and pool is crazy crowded though.
