Good hotel in St. Catharines

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Great staff, good food, nice atmosphere
Great place near my conference at Brock University. There is a Timmy's and McD's nearby which was very convenient (never used but nice option). Staff were very friendly, room was clean and tidy. Great experience.

Exceeded expectations!

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Cons: Hotel is showing it's age and could use a facelift - specifically in the pool area (washrooms), and the TVs in the rooms.
Location: Niagara is a stone's throw away, but you get to spend the night away from the hustle and bustle, noise and lights.
Very spacious rooms in a very spacious facility! Rooms were clean, inviting, comfortable, and did I mention spacious! Pool was great with a full array of amenities.

Good location

Posted Jan 30, 2015
We needed one night to get up early to house hunt. Friendly staff, nice large one bedroom. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was not great at either meal. Would not suggest to eat there. Overall a nice stay we would stay again.

Lack of loyalty

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Room size.
Cons: The gym and recognizing their own loyalty program.
Overall the hotel itself was quite reasonable, clean, large rooms, and nice public spaces (with the exception of the gym). The most disappointing feature was when I found that the hotel doesn't recognize status within their loyalty program if you book your reservation through a website (such as expedia) other then their own. You will accumulate the points but will not receive complimentary upgrades etc.

Very Clean Hotel

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Location for us was great as we were heading to Brock University. Only a minute away. Very clean hotel.
Cons: For me just the tv's and the couch. The couch was comfortable for sitting on (we didn't need it for sleeping) just out dated.
I stayed here for 2 night in Nov 2014. If you can stand the room being a little outdated, then this is a great hotel for you. No flat screen tv's and couch could use some updating. But the rest was fantastic. The room was very clean as well was the pool and hot tub areas. Check in was fast and very polite. The halls, check in area and restaurant were very nice. The beds and pillows are top notch and very comfortable. We stayed facing the expressway and did not hear any noise from it at all.

Lovely hotel.

We booked rather late in the evening on our way to Niagara Falls and checked in within half an hour without any problems. The hotel is very nice, modern and clean. We were very happy with it and wished we could stay longer. Breakfast was really good with a full spread. The room was nice, clean and modern. In terms of location, it seems to be in the middle of nowhere but if you drive, it is not an issue at all. It is a very good value hotel and price is less than if you were to stay at the Falls itself which we did the next night and is about 10-15 mins' drive away. I would say this is a much-welcome oasis. Highly recommended.

You've Got to Stay Here

Posted Nov 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
I worked at this hotel when it first opened and it was nice to come back as a guest. Being an all-suite hotel, the size of the room makes you feel spoiled. The king-sized bed with those wonderful hotel linens and giant pillows were pure luxury. The hot shower that seemed to get hotter the longer you stood in it is also something I loved. A few updates would be nice: bathtub fixtures are getting worn-looking and the tvs could use an update. The service in the restaurant was fantastic. I asked for a seat in the warmest area of the restaurant and the waitress sat me at a table and set up a heater right behind my chair. Now that's going the extra mile!! For breakfast we had the Four Points Specialty Breakfast (the little potato cakes are phenomenal) and the Steel-cut Oatmeal that comes with a variety of complementary add-ins was true comfort food. It's off the beaten track but centrally located in the Niagara Region so it makes an ideal hub for day trips around the region.
