Comfortable rooms and beautiful locationPosted Aug 16, 2014
Location: Great walk down Queens Street in the heart of Niagara-on-the-lake. Cute little shops and lots of restaurants. Plenty of wineries and fruit picking.
My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. We had a beautiful view of a wooded area, gazebo, and outdoor seating area. The room was cozy, comfortable, and good sized.

Nice hotel, brutal staff.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Cons: front desk staff
My wife and I stayed here during a trip to Niagara On The Lake. The hotel and the room were quite nice; nothing to write home about, but quite good nonetheless. The breakfast buffet the next morning isn't worth the $13, but I wouldn't create a foofaraw about it. Realistically it is probably better than going to the Tim Hortons across the street. My issue rises with the tumultuary experience I had with the staff at the front desk. Upon checking out I noticed an extra $10 charge on the itinerary that was included in the expedia billing. I had to wait 25 minutes waiting to speak to someone at the front desk, because 3 front desk attendees (I assume one must have been the manager) were trying to help another person with their bill. Why they couldn't have had one (or even 2!) people working with one customer while someone came to help me is baffling. When I eventually asked, the only response I got was "oh, I don't think Expedia knows about this cost". Brilliant. Just brilliant investigative work. Probably explains why it took three people to work on one problem.

Nice hotel for the moneyPosted Jul 14, 2014
Location: Shaw Festival!!!! We will be back for more.
We booked this rather than more expensive hotels near Shaw Festival. When we saw how busy downtown could be, we were happy we chose a quieter location.

Nice hotel close to all attractions and shoppingPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The hotel was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. Also there were hot or cold drinks in the lobby as well as cookies on one occasion.
Cons: The air conditioner is very noisy..............
Location: Relatively close to the old town and the new mall was very handy.
We had a very nice time visiting Niagara -on -the-Lake as well as Niagara Falls. If you stay here it is just a short 10 minute ride to visit the main street of Niagara-on -the-Lake. Also just a short 15 minute ride to Niagara Falls. We also enjoyed a very nice wine tour with Trius Winery. Also we visited Fort George The weather was lovely all but a heavy down pour as we visited the new shopping collection . Please bring an umbrella as the stores are not in a mall but separate stores with access from outdoors.

Great location for shopping and theatrePosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The staff are very friendly, professional and accommodating.
Cons: The floor tile surrounding the pool & hot tub is very slippery when wet, which is always when exiting them. Tile should be replaced with non-slip tile
Location: Shopping at outlet mall and in the downtown; Shaw Festival theatres offer great plays; numerous wineries offer tours and tastings.
There is an outlet mall 5 minutes from the hotel and the Shaw Festival theatres are about 15 minutes away. Great shopping for produce, wonderful restaurants and many wineries within a few minutes' drive.

Close to wineries.Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: It's location.
Cons: The air conditioning was driving us crazy. It's on and off all night, when it's on it's terribly freezing, when it's off it's not airy in the room.
Location: There is a new outlet and many wineries closeby.
We chose to stay here for easy access to wineries which was good. And it's quite close to Niagara-on-the-lake.

DisappointingPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: mentioned above
Cons: mentioned above
Location: Close to outlet shopping but quite far to Niagara on the Lake.
Although the Hotel Staff were helpful - and the hotel was close to the new outlet shopping center, the rooms were disappointing. No windows that do not open - and noisy air conditioning. Bathroom was tired with a cracked sink and slow to drain - breakfast not included despite high prices. We had stayed at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Mississauga (at a much lower cost) the night before and found it far superior.
