Chose to leave

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pleasant staff, but motel in rough shape. Poor mattresses and musty smell. Mostly turned off by other guests, including large group of old-timer hockey players having tailgate BBQ party in parking lot. Not recommended for families. Good for low budget and low standards.

Nothing spectacular. Low side of average.

If you just want to lay your head for a night, this will do. Far from the activities of the falls. Breakfast was good. Guy making waffles was very controlling over the only TV though. Why not let the GUESTS pick the channel??? Pets welcome, but at a $15 cost!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean & tidy, the lounge cozy and inviting, and the front desk staff and other employees were all very nice and helpful.

Great stay.

Pros: Very clean.
Cons: Ice in driveway was bad, but it has been a bad winter.
Location: Very close to the Falls. LOTS of things to do nearby.

2 Star Motor Inn?

Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Price Free Wi Fi, which worked well The staff
Cons: Continental Breakfast Mattresses
Location: Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls West, just off the highway Near the outlet mall
I got this as an Expedia Unpublished Rate. I don't think that any Motor Inn ( 2-story motel, rooms accessible from outside walkway ) should be classified as 2-star. These types of places, as with motels, should be classified as 1-star. Room was typical motel, with uncomfortable mattresses.

Nice to stay there for the price I paid

Posted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: Front desk and the owner was really nice and accomodating. Not too far from the Falls
Cons: room cleaniness can be improved and little bit of renovation
Location: Was not that far from the Grocery story .Tim Hortins is on the other side of the road , that was nice , Breakfast was ok.
Was Nice to stay for the money I paid , Hotel rooms need little bit of renovation and cleaniness. Owner of the hotel was really nice guy. Food was great.

This place has seen better days.

Posted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: It was inexpensive. That's about the only unqualified, positive thing I can say.
Cons: I'm not sure where to begin. From the outside, it looks like the kind of place that rents rooms by the hour.
Location: Unless you have a car AND are willing to pay the ridiculous prices for parking in the area closest to the Falls, this hotel isn't close to anything.
My family and I stayed here for one night. It looks like it's seen much better days. The room was relatively clean (a few suspicious hairs on the floor by the toilet, though) but the outside is pretty dingy. The 'free continental breakfast' was a bare bones affair featuring cereal, bread, cheap store-bought muffins and some of the worst coffee I've ever had. It had a waffle maker, though, which was a big hit with my kids.
