“Great View of Falls”

We paid a very small fee for a higher floor when checking in to the hotel. It was definitely worth the fee, as our view was unobstructed.

“Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada”

The view from our room was spectacular. We enjoyed the room immensely. What we did not like was the hidden fees . . . . we had to pay $25 per day just to park our rental car at the hotel. This was outrageous. Unfortunately there was no where else for us to park our car unless we wanted to walk for blocks. We were blind-sided by this expense. It was also suggested that we leave our housekeeping staff a gratuity for their service in keeping our room clean.

Area recommendations

We stayed in a great location -- however if we go back, we know that we can stay in a less expensive hotel and still get the same views. . . . we also know that we won't pay as much in parking fees. Most everything is in walking distance so wear comfy shoes. We also recommend the view from the Skylon Tower but be prepared to pay for a very expensive dinner where the service was not great.

“Great Location”

Stayed two nights at this hotel. We arrived late at night and was confused that there were two Marriotts across the road from each other. When we checked in, we were surprised at the size of our room it was big. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food and service was great. We booked a day tour from the hotel which was great (did maid of the mist, journey behind the falls, butterfly park which was all amazing.) The tour is great if you are like us and only had a short time to see everything.Parking anywhere in Niagara fall is expensive so keep that in mind if you are plannimng to drive yourself to all the sights.

“Bad experience”

The reception quality of service far from the quality of facilities: reserve expansion with breakfast: the hotel does not join both reserves despite having said (we have other guests' luggage in our room) and breakfast is not aware, and refused to give us breakfast.

“Couldn't ask for a better view of the Falls”

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Fallsview very much. The staff was accommodating to our needs, the room was super comfortable (we stayed in a king spa room facing the Falls), and the service and food at the restaurant was top notch. We had a late flight on check-out day and the hotel was able to provide a later than usual check out time and offered to hold our bags. The hotel was close to everything, but most of all you couldn't ask for a better view of the Falls.

Getting around

If you just want to see the Falls and do some gambling at the casino next door, take a bus from the airport. Don't waste money on a rental. There is a charge for parking at most hotels in Niagra, ON and you won't need the car to get to restaurants. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel, not to mention the excellent dining available at the hotel.

What to pack

We went to Niagra Falls in mid October. If you're from downstate NY, pack to dress during the day in Niagra what you might wear at night in lower NY. Also, be prepared for wind.

“Awesome experience at Niagara Falls...Marriott made it very comfortable.”

Our stay at the Marriott Hotel was extremely satisfying. The entire staff was friendly and Lawrence at the Front Desk was our "go-to-guy" for information on everything from dining to sight-seeing. His recommendations were outstanding and his friendliness and willingness to to assist were superb. Stay on the Canada side but must vist the US side to see total perspective of the Falls.

The Pinacle Restaurant located adjacent to the Marriott Fallsview has a great view of the falls and our meal was delicious. Do not go to Niagara Falls without an experience at the Pinacle Restaurant.

“Worth recommending”

We stayed in the fallsview room. The scenery was magnificent, but if you want 'the best view", you should book the room on the 8th floor or upper. From the 5th floor, we stayed there, some woods bothered our view a bit. All the staff were nice and helpful. Valet parking was greatly organized and convenient, although the daily fee was slightly expensive. The location is almost the outskirts of the town, but it doesn't matter. We had many choices of restaurants, shops and entertainments within walk distance. We're pretty sure we will choose this hotel for next visit!

“Service superb”

The service at this hotel is superb. I left the Embassy Suites and came to the Marriott. The staff was friendly. No hidden prices, check out was quit as well as checking in. OMG the breakfast was excellent. The view of the Falls in my room was breath taking. My four year old nephew squealed with delight when we entered the room because the room was clean and he could play on the carpet.(unlike Embassy Suites) My stay here was wonderful. I will always return back to the Marriott .

“Niagra's finest”

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. The view of the falls was spectacular and the room was very comfortable. We would definitely book this hotel again.
