Close to the falls, but everything else is falling

It is right next to bird kingdom, about 2-3 mins walk to the rainbow bridge. Hotel front desk staffs were nice. That is about the only good things for this hotel. Tiny bath, mold in the tub surrounds, peeling ceilings, no outlets anywhere, they ran the extension cables for most of the light fixtures, this can go on and on. Bottom line, stay somewhere else. If u want to save $, go somewhere futhur, or pay more to stay close

Pros: Not too much
Location: Location is great, quite but close enough to the Falls/ Clifton Hill/ Maid of the Mist that it can easily be walked
My initial first impression with the hotel, was that it was not too bad.. a little outdated, but not too bad. I advised the front desk that I was early for check in and asked if it was ok to park there, the lady was very nice, took my plate number and said no problem at all.... then.. they ( a male manager) asked for a cash deposit because i wasnt using a credit card, i told them i was not advised of this when i spoke to Expedia, then they blamed Expedia, telling me that they have told this to Expedia on several occasions and that " no body there wants to listen but whatever, there is a cash deposit" when i also corrected them on the price for the room as it was more than i booked it for, the blame went back to Expedia again saying " now someone there messed up on the room rate and they should have charged you more" .. ok fine, but luckily for me i had the confirmation # and they did honor the rate that I was quoted.. there was an additional charge for parking, and an additional charge for the bottled water they left in the room, the room was relatively clean and the beds comfortable, the restaurant itself was not overly impressinve and it was closed around dinner time, but the buffet breakfast was ok - but not worth the $9/person.. i will not be recommending this hotel - even my kids said they wouldnt stay there again!

The hotel is ten minute walk to clifton hill,

Pros: closeness to everything we needed
Cons: finish the work that they started on all rooms, update common areas
Location: Clifton hill and the american falls are just ten minute walk away. cut in behind planet hollywood and you are at top of the hill.
The rooms that you get through expedia are the oldest and least updated. All hotel is a little shabby. Extra ten dollars a day for parking was a surprise. Was a good hotel though for the money in Niagara. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

The hotel was close to what we did in canada. It was nice being close to the bridge into Canada as we got in late on a Thursday night and once across the border we didnt have to travel very far.

Walk to anything in minutes

My wife and I were looking just to get away for a few days. Michael's Inn was located close to the casino, restaurants, and attractions. We never used our car the days that we were there, save a little money that way and also got to see things closer hand. All in all great few days nice place to stay.

Good location but a bit dated

Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Needs some repairs on the carpet, the wallpaper, the glass window and the rusty bathtub (around the drain).
Location: Went to a wedding and that's why we were there. But I think it's an easy walking distance to Casino Niagara.
Nice, clean and comfortable bed sheets. However, the furniture is dated to say the least. The wallpaper is peeling in many spots. And the carpet is coming up. The window was broken in one corner. And the bathtub is rusty. Looks like the hotel has not done any repairs or renovations in years. Good thing we only stayed one night. Other than that, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy. We had buffet breakfast but there was a big group of students when we arrived and we were waiting for about 20 minutes before we could get seated.

Hotel Front Desk need to learn some manners

Pros: The room was great we got the suite with the Jacuzzi tub and king size bed. Yah so the jets weren't the greatest but room was clean and maintained
Cons: Client services. Your front desk desperately need to be worked on to deal with clientele. First impression is everything
Location: It's very convenient.
This is the first time I've stayed at this location. The pictures looked great and that's why we booked it. When driving up to it I was OMG it's so run down looking. But walking into the lobby it's quite grey and bland looking. We requested an early check in because we were doing the wine tour. We told the lady at the front desk and she just gave me a real attitude and didn't want to deal with us or listen to my request. All I told her was that we requested an early check in through Expedia and were told you may accommodate and all we got was an attitude. They say the front desk says everything about the hotel and makes the first impression it does. If I had to base the hotel strictly on hostesing I would never go back there. We didn't have coffee cups or plastic cups in our room for coffee and water. We asked for the front desk to provide them or have someone to provide us with these cups and coffee and they said come downstairs and get it :(. Once again front desk attitude not impressed.
