Fallview was worth every penny. Amazing! Hotel needs an upgrade and free breakfast. Go here anyway and get the view.

Gotta get away NiagaraPosted Jul 28, 2015
The hotel was fine. I was happy with everything about the facility. Bring your wallet as every other business in the area wants in side it. All you can eat breakfast across the road was $6.99. Yet an apple juice for my daughter was charged $4! No refills. Fireworks we good but hidden by some trees while out side the property. I wish I went to the 14th observation at the hotel. Next time I guess.

Nice, clean, close by to every thing Niagara FallsPosted Jul 28, 2015
Stayed July 22, 2015 - July 23, 2015. Check at this hotel starts at 3pm (others in the area check in is at 4pm). We got there just before 3 and check in was not an issue, It was fast and simple. Hotel reception very friendly. Our room was "falls side". So the view wasn't exactly what I expected but it still was pretty nice. Falls side room does not mean a Falls View room. Just a tip when booking for a falls view room. Expedia does not make this clear. The room was clean, fresh and airy. I really have no complaints but then I only booked the hotel for one day and most to that time was spent out in the Falls area.

Nice hotel close to the incline and the Falls.Posted Jul 27, 2015
Great location! We had a king bed with sofa bed and jet tub. It was a spacious room for a family of 4, but the sofa bed was a twin bed not a double.

Located near Niagara FallsPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Location and view of the Falls.
Cons: Front desk answering the phone quicker
Location: Close to the incline and walking paths.

Somewhat disappointed with the view of the fallsPosted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: The location and the front desk staff.
Cons: Emphasize the location to the falls rather than advertise the view of the falls which is not as advertised.
Location: There was plenty of things to do within walking distance of the hotel for all age groups.
The view.of the falls was not as advertised due to the tree growth. Our room had a peach pit on the baseboard in plain sight and had to ask that the room be cleaned. The room was promptly cleaned. There is an additional local tax that generates revenue to help fund the fireworks display and help pay for the coupon books. This we were told is "volunteer" and would be deducted upon request. All of the businesses complied except Oakes. They would not remove the "volunteer" tax, which for us was $43.+ dollars. I don't feel that the room was as good as the price would indicate.

Great view!Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: The view was great and location was convenient.
Cons: Not really. As I mentioned, the swimming pool was small. Not much could be done about that.
Location: Location was very good. Bus stop right outside the door. Walking distance to the falls. Probably 20 minute walk (if you have children).
We stayed in a Fallsview Premiere room. Had view of both Canadian and American falls. Looked like a postcard. Room was very clean and nicely updated. Staff was very nice. Location was great as well. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the size of the swimming pool. It was on the small size. But, we didn't go to Niagara Falls to swim in the hotel room. If I ever come back to Niagara Falls I will be staying at Oakes:)
