Century Old Inn close to CasinoPosted Nov 25, 2014
The Inn is quite beautiful. The staff was friendly and it's located walking distance to Fallsview Casino and restaurants...quieter end of Fallsview Road. Negatives, water pressure in shower is low and the room was freezing when we checked in.

One night only...Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: The size and price of the room. Dinner in the Flour Mill was lovely.
Cons: The hotel has a fireplace in the bedroom but you can't use it until "Winter". They can allow their guests to use the fireplace in the fall too.
Location: Fallsview Casino is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and getting down to the falls area is only another 4-5 minute walk south.
We enjoyed one night in a 2 bedroom suite that was both spacious and beautiful. The dinner at the Flour Mill was fantastic

Nice for a last minute hotel room for only $100Posted Nov 10, 2014
Nice place in general... Hotel layout is very confusing and the hotel room was very average for a "deluxe room". I was happy with it because I only paid $100 but if I had paid much more than that it would have been disappointing. I didn't get to use any of the facilities because I did not check in until they were closing.

Romantic weekendPosted Nov 8, 2014
Very romantic. Excellent food and staff. Very comfortable room. Room direction plaques were paper taped to wall, cheap.

Would not go back.Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: The woman who checked us in was very polite and smiled the entire time. Unfortunately that was overshadowed by our reservation being incorrect twice!
Cons: Since I am not given enough space to individually list here what needs to be improved I would say everything other than the friendly front staff.
Location: I would choose a hotel closer to attractions next time, and one not next to a night club which I was unaware of.
I was really looking forward to the weekend in Niagra Falls and spending it at a hotel that looked more like a rustic cabin (by the online pictures) than the standard hotel chains you usually see. Unfortunately the experience was all around very disappointing. Upon check-in they tried to charge 2 rooms to my boyfriend and I instead of the 1 we reserved. Thankfully I brought a printed copy of my booking just in case. Then once that got sorted out we got to the room to find she had given us a room with 2 double beds instead of the 1 Queen which, again, showed very clearly on our Expedia itinerary I had printed out and showed her. We couldn't be bothered to switch rooms for another mistake on the hotel's part so we stayed with it. Then upon going to the washroom I had the pleasure of seeing a nice dark brown stain crusted on the bottom of the toilet seat. 0 point for house keeping here. Not only very disappointing but obviously incredibly disgusting and unhygienic. I don't even want to know how long that's been left there. Lastly, when I called that morning to see if we would be able to check-in early upon our arrival I was told that there would be no problem with that as the hotel was not that busy. Despite the room availability, they decided to place us on a ground floor room directly across from a night club so we got to listen to the thumping music until about 3am. Upset we spent the money for even 1 night, would never recommend or go back.

One night Get-AwayPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: The room was gorgeous. Only 10 minute walk from the falls and/or casino which was ideal.
Cons: An in room coffee maker would have been nice; and a TV that fit in the cabinet (doors of cabinet were sticking out making it difficult to pass by)
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of all the attractions (casino, falls, Clifton Hill) and yet secluded enough that you aren't bothered by the tour
An enjoyable stay. Not the best I've had, but also not the worst. The welcome at reception could have been warmer (like the one the folks in front of me got). Was told I didn't have a reservation when I first arrived, but luckily had my confirmation with me. I entered the hotel numerous times during my stay (I'm a smoker and was outside) but only once did the concierge look up and greet me when I came in.

Nice hotel. Walking distance to the falls.Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Our room was nice with the king size bed and fireplace. Liked the character of the hotel.
Cons: I didn't like that you had to pay for parking.
Location: Walking distance to the falls, resturants were close by.
Unfortunately, can't say much since we just slept there. We did not have a chances to use the pool or have dinner there.

customer service was non existence.Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: location near the sights of Niagara falls. most in walking distance.
Cons: supplies in room should be updated and filled when needed.
Location: good location, near some attractions of interest.
light bulbs burned out and no one would come and change them. we had a room that opened to the outside of the hotel and the bulb wasn't working out there and no one came. no tissue in the dispenser and no extra toilet paper rolls in the room. no phone book or area interest booklets. nothing in the lobby regarding this too. hard to find room and elevator, no real directions posted. not a happing experience. staff at registration desk not too knowledgeable.

Looks beautiful. Lacks substance.Posted Oct 27, 2014
At first glance, this hotel seems like the perfect image of quaint comfort and hassle free stay; however just having the right decor does not equate with a hospitable stay. The check-in/check-out process took unusually long. The receptionist did not seem to be trying to speed things up, in fact she closed the second check-in station right after the 6 people ahead of us had checked-in, making us wait even longer. The room phone did not work. The room was ill equipped. There was an additional $20 fee for parking and service which is not reflected in the Expedia price. The same goes for their in-house restaurant.

Close to all attractionsPosted Oct 22, 2014
When we got there we were greeted nicely. We were however told we were going to get a really nice room. The room was nice but, when I opened the curtains we were looking down on a pool....which really sucked. Also, most of the stations on tv were bearly watchable because of they were so fuzzy. Two things that I feel are pretty important in having a nice comfortable room.
