Lovely spa resort inn off the NOTL main stripPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: A lot of foot traffic through the hallways as people go from indoor pool to spa treatments to outdoor pool. The hallway to the 150 rooms is frigid.
Cons: Clean the desk drawers--ours were full of food crumbs.
Location: Great boutique shopping, though can be $$$; Fort George and the Barracks; wine tours; Shaw Festival; ghost tours; spa; good food.
We stayed one night in a lovely Superior suite that had a fireplace, large bathtub with jets, and two 42" TVs. Unfortunately, the TV in the bedroom wasn't working, but not really necessary. Very comfortable bed, very clean, quiet, and the staff is extremely helpful and polite. I highly recommend it.

Nice hotel, AWFUL bed!Posted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We went to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a destination wedding @ the Pillar & Post... the room was very nice. I found that the bathroom could have used a little more cleaning (it was dirty under the sink), but the real show-stopper was the hard bed -- like sleeping on a rock! My body was sore the next morning! We won't stay there again on our next trip to this beautiful destination.

It was great. Visited the wine and Niagara region and saw a play at the Shaw.

Very nice, a few blocks from Niagara-on-the-LakePosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Just about everything. It wasn't ostentatiously luxurious, but everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable.
Cons: A regular shuttle service to downtown would be appreciated.
Location: Lots of shopping and excellent restaurants nearby. We did not attend the local theaters (plays), but obviously they were a big hit with others.
Checked in an found we'd been upgraded to a large suite at no extra charge! We added an additional day's stay at a discounted suite-rate. The hotel facilities were perfect for our needs: very good restaurant, immaculate rooms and public spaces, pool & spa (which we didn't use). All the hotel & restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The only possible down-side is that some guests may not want to walk that far (about 5 blocks) into town; a shuttle is said to be available, but we didn't use it. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable one we've every experienced. Would stay there again without hesitation!

Loved it all.Posted Jul 19, 2013
Pros: Staff, ambience
My wife and I took a two night stay to relax in the middle of a business trip. We just loved the ambience. Our king room was not overdone but very comfortable with excellent quality linens and toiletries, and a fresh rose each evening and newspaper in the morning. Very nice. The lobby is a wonderful space for those of us who like rustic wood beams, old brick, and antiques. We felt right at home. The outdoor pool is in a beautiful flower lined courtyard and the hot tub/ spa is really nice too. The staff really looked after us, even booking our theater tickets at the last minute as well as shuttling us about town wherever we wanted to go. By the time we left, we were feeling rather spoiled. We can't wait to go back!
