“Will not stay here”
This hotel has a nicely done lobby and a shabbily done interiors/hallways/rooms. There is a big difference between the lobby and rooms. We would barely give this hotel a 2-star rating.
“Hotel Service is very bad”
Their check-in time is 4.00pm and I was not aware of, so reached at 12:00pm. We were travelling after 2 days trip of New York so was very tired and requested them if we can check in bit early. Now here starts the drama. They told me to come around 1:30pm. At 1:30pm they told room is not ready yet will take some more time. At 2:00pm, they told me it will take 40-45mins more. I told them ok, I will come back at 3.00pm. At 3.00pm when I asked if the room is ready, the idiot receptionist asked me what was your room number. I provided the details and then he replied sorry it seems it's not ready yet. I was so angry and scolded him like anything. Then he called few numbers and suddenly said your room is ready. Their check out time is 11:00am and they took 5 hrs to make one room ready. Next day, I checked out on time (11.00 am) and requested them to keep my luggage in cloak room as my flight was at 3:00pm. Can you believe..they charged $5 per bag saying they don'y have any space to keep luggage. Very poor service. Even the hotel is poorly maintained. Bathroom door was not closing properly. AC was dusty. I didn't complain them after first day's of experience. I won't recommend this hotel. Only good thing was the location - Very near to state park. But there are many other hotels at the same location.
“Fantastic Location”
If you are visiting the American side of the Falls this is a great Hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the park, The Hard Rock Cafe, other Restaurants, The Rainbow Bridge (entrance to Canada) as well as the big Casino. They also have a nice restaurant on site called Legends. We ate there twice and was satisfied with service and the food. The only complaint we had was the bed frame was really creaky and seemed broken down. This could have been in just our room... There were signs says "Excuse the dust as we remodel" I did not see signs of remodeling which could be good.... Overall for location and price this place could not be beat. maybe by the time you go the remodel will be done and the creaky beds replaced.
“Great location - walking distance to everything”
Hotel isn't anything fancy, but clean and comfortable. Hotel is within walking distance to all falls attractions and a short walk to bridge to Canada.
“Good price. so-so rooms. Unacceptable service.”
The location of the hotel is almost perfect, only a few hundred yards away form the park entrance (2~3 minutes walk). The in-hotel restaurant is a little expensive for the food provided. And that's it for the good side. Now the complaints: The people at the front desk made me feel like I was someone they didn't even want to look at or speak to. The lady was making phone calls to her friend when I approached and she kept talking for 3 minutes before she took my questions. The guy gave me a very cold face when I said "excuse me". I never had such experience during my travels in the US. The room smelled bad. I was about 100% sure that there was a dog in the room and it was not thoroughly cleaned after that.
“One if the worst hotel ever”
never get in to this worst hotel.
“Better than the Sheraton!”
Our friends stayed at the Sheraton by the casino, and paid quite a bit more, but the condition of their rooms was far worse than I would expect. The Quality Inn was a bit dated, but extremely clean and comfortable. No need to find anywhere else!
“Great time had by all!!”
Customer service was fantastic. Great place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again.
“Enjoyable hotel stay in Niagara Falls, NY”
Despite all of the horrible reviews I've read about this hotel before booking it, I decided to give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. Even though it was situated in a neighbourhood that looked scary, everyone at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I loved that they had free coffee/tea in the lobby 24/7, I had one the nite we checked in, and again the next morning =). And ppl were complaining about bed bugs? I looked underneath the covers and saw nothing but clean, crisp, white sheets. Maybe whatever happened a couple of years ago was an isolated incident, and hopefully new mattresses have replaced the old ones. Parking? We had no trouble finding a spot at the back. The parking lot was very well lit too! Overall, this was a GREAT hotel for the price that you pay! Service was excellent, hotel was clean & quiet, and it was an enjoyable stay!
“this is a simple hotel with no many expectations”
i don't have much to say about this hotel cause i had it booked just as a jumping point to see the Falls and that's what mattered to me. the hotel was just a secondary priority to me and i was just happy to find the basic needs.
