“Great Location, Great Value!”

Would like to say the bartender at Tony Romo's restaurant which is adjoined to the hotel, helped us kick off our weekend with great cocktails and information about places we were interested in checking out. The hotel staff were so helpful and accomodating, from the cleaning staff all the way to the gift shop. Michelle and Gordon were so helpful in getting us info about things to do in the area. The hotel was in a great location, able to walk to nearby casino and other eateries. Next time will upgrade to a view of Niagra! Hotel was in perfect location to actually get a great view of the Falls, with a quick walk across the street. I would stay here again and recommend to friends, for the price, location and cleaniness, as well as a great staff!

“pleasantly surprised !”

My husband and I went for our 6th wedding anniversary Oct 20-23rd and we were very happy we chose this hotel..the hotel staff were great, very helpful !!! We were able to pretty much walk everywhere to Casino, different restaurants .Tony Romas in hotel was great also. The hotel was very clean and helpful will reccmmend this hotel to everyone .....will....be very pleased !!!!! can't wait to go back !!!!!

The hotel in the Tower hotel was wonderful food great service great !!!!! also Margaritaville was awesome great food fun place went to the one in Jamaica and was surprised to see in Niagra Falls.

“The staff responded to a problem”

Our second day we returned in the afternoon to loud music coming from the adjacent room; heavy bass boom boom boom. I called the front desk. They said they would give the guest a warning and if the disturbance continued they would be asked to leave the hotel. The warning was given, the music ceased, and we enjoyed quiet the rest of our stay. Comfortable room, good heat and cool control with wall thermostat. A convenient location. No complaints, it was good. Self parking is $20 per day and the lot was full requiring us to park with the valet service.

Area recommendations

Niagara on the Lake is a very charming town close by.

Getting there

We arrived from the east. Toronto traffic at rush hour is a nightmare and many Toronto drivers drive crazy.

“Great Stay at this hotel”

This was a great hotel to stay in for the money. Check in was fast and pleasant. The room was a good size with new furnishings and clean. The only negative is the parking fee for valet. Their self-parking was full, so valet was the only choice. Overall, it was a good hotel with pleasant staff.

Area recommendations

I would recommend Clifton Hill because there are lots of things to do there. Also, a drive to Niagara-on-the Lake.

Shopping

Definitely go the the Canada One Mall on Lundy's to shop. Lots of great bargains.

“Close enough but not to close.”

The hotel was one of the last ones on the street but was close enough to walk to several attractions. This kept activity and traffic out front down. The pool was nice to look at but was only about three foot deep. They charged for parking but cut the rate in half when a asked about alternate parking. Parking was at a premium every place in Niagara Falls. The hotel was very modern and clean. The staff was very helpful and did a great job with questions and directions.

Area recommendations

Travel about twenty minutes north to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Shaw Festival offered 8-10 Broadway caliber shows at 4 or 5 theatres in this small town. The "Old Town" portion of the town was fantastic and our self guided tour of some of the 30 or so wineries was wonderful.

Events and shows

Take in a Broadway style play during the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, just twenty minutes north of Niagara Falls. I think shows run from spring to November each year at the 4 or 5 theatres around the town.

Other

Shop around for parking as some lots tried to get $20-$30 and would lower the price if you questioned it. I paid $10 to park all day at a lot near Clifton Hill while a lot one block over was charging $20.

“Falls view”

I thought my reservation is city view, while I enter my room. Great, falls view! The location is good and I also find a short-cut to Niagara falls welcome center, which cross the street and take incline railway.

“anniversary memories”

I really enjoyed being able to see the falls from our room but it would have been nicer to see the falls from our jacuzzi tub. Other than that the experience was good.

Area recommendations

Niagara on the Lake as it is a trip back in time and especially the Old Angel Inn. I also enjoyed the winery.

When to go

I think that it would be best to go in the late summer as early summer is too hot and in September it is cool and dampish.
