Don't Stay Here unless you like hidden fee's

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: the Jacuzzi tub was nice
Cons: their general manager needs to learn how customer service works. Also they need to do more maintenance on their rooms.
Location: It is near many better hotels. Stay at those!
We checked in and provided a cash deposit for the room as we had forgotten our credit card at home. I asked the front desk person if I would get back my deposit the next day and he advised yes. There was no mention of any fees that would be charged to my deposit as I had paid in full through Expedia using PayPal. The room was clean but there were some maintenance issues. The heating/cooling unit squeeked loudly when on so we opted to have it off all night. The TV had poor reception like something from the 1970's as it was full of static. Also the channels listed were not accurate to what was available. On checkout, I was told there was a room surcharge that I must pay out of my deposit. I advised I had not been told about the fee on check-in and also that my Expedia itinerary did not advise of such fee. I was told it was in the fine print so I provided my tablet with the itinerary on it to the front desk guy and asked him to show me where it was listed as I had read the fine print and also seen the fee's that are extra. He then went and got the general manager who told me that it was my "fault" for booking through a third party (Expedia) and that it was a usual charge from their hotel. When I advised we were not told on check-in he said "I stand by my employees and you would have been told" with a very arrogant tone. He then grabbed my full deposit and threw it at the counter and said I would be best to stay at a Motel 6 next time. A horrible experience!

Not the experience I was hopeing for.

Posted Jan 26, 2015
I was very dissapointed in my experience. Being charged 14 dollars for less then 24 hours at a hotel I am staying at is absoulutly ridicolous! Along with the hidden 3.99 facility fee. The resturant downstairs was very over priced and the food was very dissapointing. Despite the outrageous charges, the staff was very nice and welcoming butI will not be staying with the Ramada again.

Business/pleasure Trip

Pros: Clean, modern rooms and hotel. Jacuzzi tub was heavenly
Cons: Nothing
Location: Conveniently located to all attractions and all within 10 minute walk.
Husband attending conference at ScotiaBank Centre so very conveniently located. I walked every day to the falls (about 8-10 mins walk) and enjoyed the peace and serenity. Staff very courteous and helpful. Rooms were what we needed..nice jacuzzi tub to relax in after a long day. Indoor pool was very clean and warm as well. Would recommend this location for anyone visiting the falls.

Manager was excellent

We were given coupons for numerous dining establishments and we were able to ride in the shuttle (recommended by manager). The staff was excellent. Price was very good. Thank you. (Manager Tim - thanks! You made our stay extra-pleasant!)

Not as great deal!

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Pool.
Cons: Cots, bedding, smell. Definitely should not be listed as Falls view. IHOP was over priced.
They stated we could fit our family of five in the room. Had to move furniture in order to open the cot in the room. The sheets on the cot were torn, and the room smelled musty. Pool was warm, but no hot tub. A lot of condensation on the window sill and could see where mild may have an opportunity to grow around the window ledge. Beds were not very comfortable and the sheets didn't fit well.

A bit tired of a hotel but a good deal.

We spent about $100 for a King room with a jacuzzi tub. Although the decoration was a bit dated it was all quite nice.
