Location: NOTL - Niagara Falls - Wineries - Shopping - Etc.
Clean, no frills - They really need to upgrade the lighting especially in the bathroom!! But if your in a pinch or don't care about Hotel ammenities then this is a great find for a good price. The staff were pleasant & helpful!

Student dormPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Pleasant, efficient staff.
Cons: Cold air blowing through the vent into the room. Too cold! Is it too late to make the windows openable?
Location: Thought it would be further from NOTL. Was pleased to discover that it wasn't that far.
I wanted a cheap, clean, functional room to be able to go to the Shaw Festival one night, stay over and visit vineyards the next day. It served its purpose. It was basic, but safe, and clean, and the staff were pleasant. The tea downstairs in the lobby was good to have 24/7.

Residences are a great bargain!Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Reasonable price for travellers.
Cons: Have multiple coffee carafes going or get a big coffee machine for the breakfast room and lobby.
Location: Niagara Falls and its carnival-style town!
The room was clean and there was a fridge and micro. THere were televisions in the rooms as well. There was some kind of machine noise that made falling asleep a little challenging. While the staff were lovely, they were understaffed in the morning breakfast room where the coffee ran out constantly. Perhaps it was just a busy morning.

Hotel plan B.Posted Aug 11, 2014
Everything was booked solid in the area in the 150-300$ price point. This was a perfect plan B. Bedding is a little out of date but the rooms were clean, breakfast was included and it was quiet. Keep in mind this is a student residence. You are a few steps away from the outlet mall and a winery technical Center. Keep in mind there are over 20 wineries a few minutes away from this hotel.

Nice and cleanPosted Aug 11, 2014
Cons: Need WIFI in the rooms.
Nice hotel, clean rooms that appear like they were former hospital rooms. NO WIFI IN THE ROOM ! That needs to be fixed in this day and age.

Pros: reasonable pricing; nice staff; on Niagara College campus
Cons: better quality towels and toiletries; more choices for continental breakfast such as yogurts, fruits and hard boiled eggs
Location: wineries,Shaw Festival; outlet mall; campus brewery and culinary school
mostly diisappointed by location. we were under the impression that it was within walking distance of old town Niagara on the Lake; instead about a 15 minute drive. interesting to take the tour /tasting of the winery and brewery on the campus . we wish we had known there was a culinary institute on campus; we would have made dinner reservations. Disappointing that most restaurants in NOTL close at 9 pm, therefore difficult to attend an evening performance at the Shaw Festival and have dinner afterwards.
