Nice hotel, a good walk to Niagara Falls.

Everything was excellent, although maintenance need to be on top of their game in order to keep building in top condition. Overall 4/5

great tub in room!!

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The tub and beds were comfy
Cons: service
Location: the location is kinda in a scary area if you are walking back at night. Close enough to everything you can walk
We got a room with a jaccuzzi tub and it was huge. We are both 6 feet tall and the tub was extremely comfortable for both of us.

Beware of hidden costs!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Booked my hotel room three months in advance through Expedia. The day we get there, I am asked to pay an extra $12 per day for parking my car in their lot. That's certainly got my goat!. She was polite enough to give me two for one and I only paid the one day instead of two. Beds were comfortable, breakfast discount was reasonable, with the Golden griddle being right next to the building. Coffeemaker wasn't anything to write home about, as it clogged. Should be replaced with a more user-friendly and updated brewer, such as Keurig or Tassimo. The chambermaid was more than helpful.

Super 8 needs work

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The pool.
Cons: More cleaning, update décor - fresh paint, new carpet.
Location: Hotel was a little far to walk to the main activity areas, it was on a quiet street and felt that parking was secure.
Room smelled old, carpet was worn, room was not the cleanest, décor was decades old and run down, discount at Golden Griddle buffet was a ripoff. The receptionist was very friendly, felt bad they had to work at such a dilapidated facility.

Just fine

Really nice for the price. Not too far on foot from everything around for a couple. Consider to get closer in a different hotel if you are with young kids or 60 and up.
