Manager and Staff

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Had a mini arcade, pool, thread mill room and convenience store inside
Cons: Quality of their carpets
Location: Indoor Skydiving, Tattoo shop, Souvenir shops, Casino, around 15 minutes walk to Clifton Hills
Staff was very helpful providing all the necessary information needed. The manager of the hotel, Jason, was very helpful and addressing our needs as a family if there were any adjustments that needed to be done with our booking.

Filthy hotel room

Room was filthy!!! Tub had hairs in it!! Crumbs on carpet. Will never stay there again!! Maid did come and clean tub out when we complained and even she said it hadn't been cleaned properly.

Good price for what we got

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Oct 4/5 - one year anniversary We didnt really spend that much time in the room since we arrived at almost 7pm on saturday, went out to clifton hill, and checked out the next morning Pros: Location somewhat close to clifton hill, and other attractions. Though not as close as travelodge (the pink building) we stayed at last year. It was a cold and rainy weekend, so walking on sat night wasnt an option, we used the car a lot. Got 2 queen beds + jetted tub for about $98 Fridge in room Nice view of sky wheel and stuff Cons: Parking is $12 + tax so like 14. Which is ridiculous. Cleanliness was questionable. The toilet was dirty, and found lots of hair in washroom and jetted tub. So we werent as comfortable as we would have liked.

good amenities

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: It was very comfortable, with lovely large rooms, and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool
Cons: Found the female staff at the reception desk patronising.
Location: just of central, nice walk down to the falls, 2 nice breakfast restaurants, nearby and a few nice places to eat
Arrived early at hotel, was told if I wanted access to a room, I had to pay $20,.Explained to manager that coming from Scotland it was a 7,15hrs journey, coupled with a 5hr time difference and then transferring from Toronto to Niagara Falls, the last thing you would want to hear was that because you had arrived early there would be a surcharge. The staff couldn't believe that we had free parking through Expedia, when I came home I received my credit card bill to find out that the hotel had charged me $55 for something, after telling me that I owed nothing when checking out of the hotel.

Disappointing

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The customer service from the staff, placement of the coffee maker, have someone stay on top of making sure towels are in the pool area.
I work in the hotel industry has a Customer Service Leader for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International. Unfortunately, we do not have any properties in the Niagara Falls area. We ended up staying at the Super 8 has an economical choice. The staff could of been more pleasant. We stayed nights and did not hear a "thank you" once. We had to argue for towels twice. Once upon arrival when there was only 3 in a room for 4 people and once when went to the pool area and the towel shelf was empty. We had went to front desk and asked for towels to which the response was " don't you have towels in your room". We had to explain how those were for showering. I will not recommend this property to anyone. There are plenty of other options in the area that would still be an economical choice. Also, the bathroom does not seem like an appropriate spot to place the coffee maker.

Housekeeping just walks right in.

Housekeeping walked in on us. We had the do not disturb sign on the door and they just walked in, no knock or anything.

Close to all you need

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: It was close to everything and was quiet.
Cons: The breakfast vouchers need upgrading and the parking rates need lowered
I was there for family visit. Did not use the pool as it was always crowded. Must be a nice pool. I found the voucher given for breakfast inadequate. The parking was good, but expensive. Hotel needs a few upgrades.

Hotel not too far from casino and falls.

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The rates are very reasonable.
Location: There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel if you wish to use public transportation (WEGO) to get to the sights around Niagara (falls, shopping)
Requested a room higher up and received one on the top floor. Since I have a handicap sticker for my car there was no charge for parking.
