Quiet place but horrible services

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Place nice for its location in a quiet area. Service not good, employees do not respect customers. Reservation made but no availability and attitude given to clients. Sheets and towels dirty. Room with bad smell . For the breakfast there is no word to tell how bad it is. Breads served with mold. Never enough. More training and professionalism could help fix more than half of the issues.

Average hotel 6 miles from Niagara Falls Canada.

Pros: You could rent a room for 5 people, 3 large beds, rooms were clean for what the staff had to work with.
Cons: Replace carpet, keep stairways clean, staff should be more gregarious.
Location: If you like a carnival atmosphere, you can walk the distance to what seems to be the Niagara midway.
One staff member we came in contact with was pleasant and friendly. The others seemed aloof and course. We were told parking is very difficult down by the falls, buy a bus pass. Because of the size of our group, this cost us $50. Parking by the waterfront was easy and as low as $5 in some places. The pool area was nice, although in need of some maintenance. Breakfast needed to include some protein, not just cereal and doughnuts. The rooms were roomy and clean. Our card key didn't work, so we were given a hard key which worked on both of our room doors, we didn't check other rooms, but assume it could be used elsewhere, since it worked on both of our rooms, not just the one intended for. Overall, if you need a hotel that will accommodate more than 5 people to a room, this one will work. By all outside appearances, this hotel seems to be what you would get at any of the other ones anyway.

On shuttle line

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Comfortable location
Cons: Update carpet
Location: Restaurants, falls
Very comfortable. Nothing fancy, but we were only in our room to shower & sleep. Staff helpful. Right on shuttle line to the falls. Will stay there again

Budget friendly; bare bones but convenient.

Three beds in one room was very family friendly; Nice indoor pool space with hot tub; very convenient to Niagara Falls and attractions without being in all the chaos; not the perkiest of locations, but near all that you'll need for your stay.

Great Rooms, Terrible Staff

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Clean room, comfy bed, hot tub in room & indoor and outdoor pools
Cons: The Service!!!
Location: 5 Minutes from The Falls.
Terrible, stuck-up staff under a new management who did not feel the need to satisfy us of this other family at the time. liked the room a lot, bed was comfy, room and hot tub were clean. It kinda makes up for their terrible service, but you should be the judge of that. Oh and I found a cockroach in the swimming pool. Don't think i'm going back there.

Pros: It was located right in the business district, off street parking.
Cons: Facility needs major remodel. For the price paid we were anticipating a much different experience.
Location: Its located not far from all the great stuff to do at the falls. Its in a business area so if you need anything convenient stores are right near by.
Very disappointing. When we got there they had the maid Fabreeze the room before we got to go in to make it smell better. Once initial "scent" wore off, room smelled like cigarettes & mildew, and just plain old. Which the facilities are. Carpet discolored badly from age, big stains & cigarette burns. Linen so thread bear you could read a book right through them, and full if fuzzy thread pills. Mattress in similar condition. Ceiling in bathroom sagging in badly from old water leak & mildew in the grout. Wish I could post some of the pics we took. Location was great right in the middle of town but condition of property definitely not up to "Travelodge" standards. If it hadn't of been so late we never would have stayed.
